Illegal bot?

  • I please need feedback for this, both by players and from a go / sgo, please (a friend asked me cause he knows i was an ex go / sgo and doesnt know what to do).Three days before, during war a player launched a compiled attack of 9 attacks, with 6 air ballon cariers and 1 ram ship each attack, with 15 seconds apart each, This is to say for example, time of attacks 10:10:14 - 10:10:25 - 10:10:39 etc. All the attacks started simoultaniously. With forge, the attacker lost 9 ram ships, his oppontent lost 54 rocket ships!

Have anyone faced anything like this? Can please, please, a go / sgo have a look at it? My friend immediately reported this in-game, with screenshots, but it's 2 days now and nothing happent! No ban! Can this bot be legal? Again yesterday, he attempeted again, launching this time 10 attacks, with 10 seconds apart, which again apear simoultaniously! But this time he withdrew the attack. Game operators (and players) please advice. Thanks.

  • I'm not entirely sure, but as far as I know: a new battle cannot start until 15 seconds have passed since the previous one. The attacks in question have been able to be placed as fast as the player can manage (less than 15 seconds per attack), but the time stamp in the reports is every 15 seconds.

This is to say for example, time of attacks 10:10:14 - 10:10:25 - 10:10:39 etc. All the attacks started simoultaniously.

Are you sure they all started exactly simultaneously? Players are able to send those attacks a few seconds apart via UI.

If you suspect a rule violation, report it via the in-game report button. You can also make a ticket to support, if necessary to give more information etc. Penalties are a matter between that player and staff, so you can't known whether the situation has led to a penalty or not.

Were the attacks all from the same city? Because if they were from different cities the attacker might have had the attack from each city open in its own tab. All pre-prepared and ready to go. Then such a chain attack is simply a matter of switching tabs and clicking the launch button and moving to the next tab.

  • There most likely isn't a bot involved. I have heard this tactic called many things including "sniping". As stated,, there is a delay of 15 seconds between battles of the same type. When I "Hammertime" with 1 round battles, I have to time the start of the next battle within 15 seconds. So sending 6 attacks would have 1 minute and 15 seconds between first and last. The same times would happen regardless of the units sent.

It doesn't seem fair on the receiving end of these attacks and are commonplace for experienced fighters.

  • There is no way someone can launced with exactly 15 seconds apart 10 attacks, not even prepared in 10 different tags. it would be something like 15-14-12-15-14-11-13 etc. It is defenetly a bot and i would very much like to know how it is possible this to be legal.Yes the attacks started simoultaniously I only dont know what

Players are able to send those attacks a few seconds apart via UI.

means. Yes my friend filed in game report,But the player of course went on v-mode, and wiliam you know very well that logs are lost after some days, so a g.o. / sgo can;t check what really happent. It will be shame and pitty for this wonderful game if illegal ways can ruin players who built and enjoy it for years...

Again, the important question is "where the attacks sent each 15 seconds apart" or "did just the fights happen exactly 15 seconds apart".

If you have a screenshot of the first then it would be interesting, if only from the second, then it's irrelevant because this is normal and no bot.

It's a game mechanic that battle reports are every 15s.

For example, an attack has been sent

    10:13:15

    10:13:22

    10.13:31

    10:13:37

and the times of the reports are then:

    10:28:15

    10:28:30

    10:28:45

    10:29:00

Those coming later wait until 15s have passed since the previous one.

I'm sorry I can't help you more. Once the situation is reported through the game, it will be reviewed by the game team.

  • NOT A BOT

The Combat Reports ARE 15 seconds apart REGARDLESS of whether it takes 1 second or 15 seconds to launch. The launches will start to pile up. This means 10 launches 2 seconds apart will show the 2m 15s from start to finish which will be exactly the same as 10 launches 14 seconds apart.

The arrival of the first launch is the same as the first CR. Every subsequent CR is 15 seconds later despite the fact that they were launched sooner. This illustrates what the SMOD posted.

    Give it a try.

  • My record is actually 3 secs apart from each wave, so its quite doable if you know what youre doing. And since nobody talked about it, itheir also quite easily defendable if you know what youre doing and what those waves are supposed to do.
