  • Does Ikariam really want new players?

    Hello,


    I’ve just opened a new account on Ikariam after more than 10 years.

    Without any preconceptions and good memories

    One thing really stands out: there’s absolutely nothing to encourage new players.


    What’s with this tutorial that’s over in five steps with like 100 wood and 50 cristal as a reward ??

    No information on how to colonise islands, the purpose of miracles, piracy, barbarian, late game unit, trade and.... everything ?

    I tried GoodGame recently, kind of similar game, and it’s a completely different story.... like wtf ? is it on purpose ?

    I had a laugh when the tutorial was over.

    Luckily I know the game well so it's not a personal issue but it’s no surprise that player numbers are dropping after all this time if there isn’t even a proper tutorial.
