Server Merge Additional Questions

Hey guys - This forum thread is about the "Server Merger" and if there are any "Additional Questions" about it!!! It is not about if "Graveyarding" is the best or worst way to play - so can we get back on topic please - I am tired of reading about this stuff.

I'm interested in how this last server merge effected people Morphias. Here is one fallout of the merge.

A number one alliance who worked hard to engulf other defunct alliances and took in non-aligned players saw their total alliance score shoot them to the top of the Beta world. Now they find that strategy a detriment in the new world. They are used to having a couple of good fighters do the talking (some say bullying) for them but now it's not working. Too much reliance on quantity over quality. It's a soap opera! Will they convince other alliances to help them or have they already? Will their whinging change the game (on and on about war banks). Will they wake up their own builders to contribute military and gold? Will they keep resting on their past glory or step up and become a cohesive alliance?

And when this is over - how will it be over? What concessions will be made? Will they still have all their members, or will some give up and join other safer alliances?

Will Party hardy go after another alliance?

Questions, questions....It's a soap opera I tell ya, an Ikariam soap opera!

The festival bonus is over, but the trade (cargo) ship speed problem persists?

Ship speed 60 or 90? The help says 90.

There is no bonus among the features of the server, but the transaction screen and the consultant screen still do not match.

Yes, I know that the bonus do not normally apply to servers that already have world bonus - but apparently these are -- as our server is Higher than the world server bonus now as of this posting

Someone tell badidol that not everyone uses Discord.

This is NICE to have but yes - messes up the In-game predictive times of arrival

Which one lied with the 25% bonus?

Did you use Cargoships or Freighters -- I do not think Freighters were affected

I already said 60.

There was also a suggestion to increase it from 3 to 20. They'll have to make do with 5, unfortunately.

Speed of 60 is normal - everything ingame should show correct times of arrival

Speed higher than 60 means a bonus is in effect somewhere - this is when the arrival times should display longer than what the ships actually arrive at

If your ships are taking longer than what the predicted time of arrival is that sounds like a malus is in effect on the server - I do not know how to help you other than report it to Gameforge

Honestly, I don't know why there isn't an event bonus pop up in game.

Half the time I don't realize it until things are moving faster then it's like oh, a bonus is occurring.

It would be nice if they made a bot that linked the forums and discord or vice versa.

I agree, that they should but I do not know how the game is coded

The Ambrosia discounts could be pre-programed to be at certain or random intervals , with no way to put in spur of the moment events?!?!

They should be able to put in live event info -- but then again they would have to have them all translated into the various languages before they went live

Where as on Discord they post it in English and the other (language) mods repost it as they have time - sometimes after the event has already occured

It's been a while since I GO'd, but IIRC that results in a red X ban (if you can actually prove it).

our guy hit the report button on the circ. They are very carefull how they word things but you dont have to be born yesterday to know when your being extorted. You can pretty well get away with anything on this game obviously.

Without explicitly mentioning money, the threats could be veiled enough that they're extorting you in game, which I imagine is the type of language they're using.
