In my opinion, we could consider adding upgrades for the walls as well.

Yes, and this makes no sense. Attack and shield should be better upgraded in workshop.
You would be more flexible and the Attacker can't read your defence by spying the level of the wall.

I also support this and mentioned this a while back. No reason we can't do attack/armor upgrades for the wall, too.
