I understand the double cost to build troops on eurydike but can we at least get the twice the cost of citizens squashed?
It's costing 2 citizens to make a speermen.. wtf are we making frankenstien speermen made up of different body parts?

It's more likely that every spear man now has a squire.
I was thinking more attrition in training. As in not fit to serve in the military. You would be surprised at how many people couldn't make it through boot camp.

Spearman are essentially grunts. That said, accidents happen and spearmen get speared.

Reaver I actually liked the first proposal of 25/25 on the wood/marlbe and no troop nerf
even so Im not complaining about the cost to build the troops in time or material im complaining about it taking 2 citizens to create 1 speermen, hoplite, swordsman.. it's non nonsensical.
PS If you're a ambrosia user, even if you're a "builder" you went to 2 just because you could convert with premium trader and 50/50/10 is better than 35/35

Even an ambro builder should have reservations. If we're going to get mega merged every ~2 years, you're better off picking the temporary server that supports your booster configuration the best.

Even an ambro builder should have reservations. If we're going to get mega merged every ~2 years, you're better off picking the temporary server that supports your booster configuration the best.
I guarentee you we do not have a "mega merger" every 2 years there ain't enough left to boil down, the best you're going to get is 1 more cycle on the 2 server comunities, the few servers that didn't get merged and the new ones they will open will not bring in enough new accounts to amount to a hill of beans and they're keeping the 11 account limit so anyone making new accounts on new servers that are already near their limit are going to have a fit on the next merger when they're not allowed to have 15-20 accounts.

I'd tend to agree on this.
Much more distilling will lead to simply two global servers. A Pangea and an Ares.
After a certain point, they will probably need to liquidate the accounts we can't use into resources we can use for the accounts we keep.
I can't see any other way to keep people from losing their shit over losing accounts they paid their hard earned cabbage to develop.

Although, I like more the fights than just monotonic building. If the time will allow, I will prefer fights over building, but I like to have a strong income, so I can produce big armies for a long duration of time.
The reasons I chose type 2 server is:
1. Because even a figher type server, from time to time will just get tired of fights and will settle down for a period (and during this period I will just enjoy the huge income and use ambro for buildings)
2. I enjoy fights.

As an aside, the whole troop nerfing thing is why a lot of people decided not to go there. It's a server for quiet builder types and those that decided they would be easier pickings to pillage (without considering troop replacement).
I suspect some of those bully types will end up less satisfied with their choice, once enough builders get pissed off enough to retaliate.
