I have a quick question.
I used to be able to put pictures to my profile / short description page. But now when I try to put picture links and try to save it, it says "Access Denied"
Anyone else have the same problem?

hi, i have the same problem. i even can't write something.

It appears that the error occurs if the message contains anything other than letters, numbers, and spaces. If there is any punctuation, it fails, but if it's only letters and numbers I'm able to save.

Long time ago tinypic killed off it's free service, I tried to correct my ingame profile with a new picture and I get "access denied" when I try to edit it.
Anyone else have this problem? I know 99% of the players in teh game don't even use this feature.
EDIT: Hmm it did let me edit it if I just erased everything.. so I try'ed adding a little at a time.. I can say for sure it does not like '
for example it's.. oh no it don't like that.. even if clear everything and have just '
it will give an access denied.

I'm trying to change my in-game profile description on s55-pl and it works until I insert a newline character, then it gives me Denied error. I'm on Safari on a MacBook.

Is it really so difficult to get a text box to accept ASCII characters?
Yes, it is - if we want to not allow to enter some crazy random special characters that can cause other issues.

Considering that it used to work, and there are other text boxes in the game like the alliance page that work with it just fine, I'm really not buying it

So, after 2 years, the "fix" was.... to embrace the bug and change the error message to say "that's officially the way it's supposed to be now".

"Under construction".
It's the same message. They will change it again, when they have a fix.Until then, get married, make some children, "etc etc etc" (with the tone of Yul Brynner)
