1) Best advice is to spend resources as soon as you have enough for building

2) If he sends for example 100 ships and loots 49.000 resources he'll assume that city to be empty and not attack again for some time.

He'll probably shift focus to other cities. Move your resources to that city.

3) Conduct scorched earth policy. If you see you'll lose battle donate every wood in forest upgrade

4) If you see he will win battle next round. Build barracks, recruit troops for as many resources as are not protected by warehouse.

He loots city, you let your units recruitment finish and then disband them.

You get 50% resources back. You saved some wood and sulphur.

Yes, you lost 50% but he got 0.

5) If need be, set all workers to 0 and earn gold.

Main thing is that he does not make profit.

As you can see on images I used 700 rewards and paid for steam saw, you can see that it will be available again in 6d 15h.

Problem is that I didn't get it.

Yes, I have active 60 days steam saw.

Nevertheless I wanted to combine that one with one from daily reward.

If you have 60 days steam saw active, and you go to cinema, and get +20% for 12 hours, it works.

You get double bonus.

So I say this situation where you dont get something you used points for - bug

Does active premium delays inactivity phases?

Account should be inactive after 7 days of no login, will that be delayed to 37 days if 30 day premium is active?

It shows 344 total points, with 0 Master builder, 0 Scientists, 0 Generals, 0 Gold.

I want that same account, on same server.

I though it gets completely deleted. Then I log in, choose same server and get free city transfer etc...

I have created multi account, just to see how does ghosting works.

28th of June 2023 - Account was created

I have build 2 colonies, played a bit.

4th of July 2023 - Last login. 6 days after registration.

According to tutorial Guide to the Ghosting Phases of the Game

• Phase 1 (First week after registration): You become inactive after 2 days with no login, you get graveyarded 2 days later.

Account became inactive on 11th of July 2023 - 7 days after no login, not 2. Ok, I think somehow this is phase 2, although last login took place 6 days after registration.

• Phase 2 (Week 2 until 1 Month): you become inactive after 7 days with no login, you get graveyarded 4 days later.

Phase 2 says, after inactivity 4 days to Asphodel

So I expect Asphodel on 15th of July.

15th of July account got into Vacation Mode by itself.

I have +30% to production for world event bonus, but see nothing on the forums.

I don't know. All of a sudden Ikariam lost sense.

Was shocked at first, but this is world we live in.

I honestly expect server merge when that "speed server" (+50% resource mined, +30% faster building, etc...) can merge with old server only to have old players look like fools. If you play as it should be played, you get outsmarted.

Ikariam is just a game. Make 500 mil in donation of out thin air? No problem.

Modern banking and finance make currency out of this air.

No wonder entire world experience inflation.

So years of patiently playing, donating, watching resources slowly accumulate...Forget that, now:

Deliberately go to inactivity, wait 45 days, choose same server, same island, save 1 city transfer item.

Double invested amount of 500 millions in 45 days, (As if) effectively donating 10 million of wood per day.

Move 1 city to Hades island, and make 400.000 resources per day. (I calculated for me, referring to answer #38 this thread.)

Recruit 7.168 Giants to hold main line for 16 hours (duration of Hades) and 1.920 mortars.

Lvl 50 carpenter and fireworks makes it 1.560.000 profit, pure profit, not revenue.

Rinse and repeat every 4 days for Hades.

And for investment in island you can rinse and repeat how many times you want.

And on top of all that, you can use legal multi account to x4 increase investment in island.

And if you noticed nowhere is premium feature present.

Are you kidding me??????

Years and years of playing just to be fooled like this.

I actually saved 1 item of relocating city from reward when you build lvl 11 Governor's palace in 11 cities.

Imagine someone donated 500 millions in island.

Account goes to inactive - change of server, or what's even better you can choose same server.

You get 500 millions in inventory to invest again, and 500 millions on "old island" remain there.

So you created 500 millions to donate out of thin air.

And if you choose same server, relocate to same island you can effectively double invested amount in 45 days???

Just to make sure before I calculate profitability:

When you dismiss units, you get 50% refund based on what you paid.

For example : I get 7 wood (rounding error) for every Spearman* that I dismiss, because I pay 15 to recruit it.

Ikariam wikia (https://ikariam.fandom.com/wiki/Units) says basic cost is 30 wood (50 lvl carpenter, cost for me 15)

*In case anyone reading this, Spearman is not unit you want to use in "Hades strategy", just example here.

So back to question:

80% Hades refund is calculated based on numbers from ikariam wiki?

It doesnt matter how much I paid for it?

Railway as island infrastructure for faster transportation of goods between cities on same island.

Although set in ancient Greece, there are helicopters in the game, so why not add railways as well.

And what about 1 Day Steam Saw / Hammer etc...?

• Does it get activated immediately or go into inventory?
• What happens if I have chain saw active? Do I get 2 x 20% boost or only 20% from already active one, effectively wasting reward?
