I'm sorry but when they gave us new spots, it was clear (if not written) that new buildings will show up.
We have 20 spots per city
4 are absolutely necessary : Town Hall, Tavern, Museum, Palace
The 5 reducers are needed.
The 2 boosters are clearly a must have
Having a barrack and a Hideout is needed.
We need at least 2 building for storage (more is not needed in general)
I add the Chronos Forge.
So we have 4 spots lefts for :
Building needed in only one city :
God's shrine
Embassy
Building that can be build depending of your game style
Temple
Trading Post
Academy
Workshop
Sea Chart
Black market
So to be clear, except for two cities where you only have 3 spots, you have 4 spots for 6 buildings.
You realize that Ikariam is a strategic game and giving us two more slots make no sense, right ?
CF is actually mandatory since the cap is removed and so is the workshop, so two new building slots should be added.

Well in a big war some of us have 4 level 40 warehouses and right now theres lots of big wars and you wont survive without them.
I understand the point but the issue here is not the number of buildings spots but the ressources secured.
What is 19 300 ressources secured (Warehouse lvl 40) when everyone using millions of ressources ?

I tried again and finally I cancel the travel .
The only thing that changed is the 217 merchands ships has finished the travel.
I've performed again the same actions:
1) launching 217 merchands ships to a city
2) Launching 1 freighter to the same city
Again, I got the same issue.
I tried to cancel the loading of the 217 ships and I succede. When this movement is "erased", I am able to cancel the freighter's travel
I've performed some test and it doesn't matter if the shippings are coming from/ are going to the same city
To resume my findings :
My freighter's shipping can't be cancelled when a commercial's shipping is also going

1st screenshot: Your workshop level is not high enough (it says in the screenshot), you need to upgrade it first. But that's only possible once other upgrades are complete -> no bug.
True, this screenshot was just here to give context. I agree there is no bug here
2nd screenshot: Currently, there is a bug here, when you want to cancel: You need to have 1 trade ship unused, in order to cancel it -> known bug
I had 9 freighters free when I tried to cancel the shipping so I think it's another bug here

Hello world,
I wanted to try the upgrades of freighters and I think I've found a bug.
So, my freighters can load 50500 each and I've decided to send 3 freighters to another city (151500 marble).
I was a bit euthousiastic and I forgot to activate Poseidon so I tried to cancel the ships when they are loading and I found the following error
I've more than 3 freighters available.
(same error message when the loading was finished and the boats launched)

It's a bit hard to determine the ressources wasted (or earned lol) but multiply the points lost by something like 55-60 (dependin of your level) and you will have a rough idea.
For people chasing points, I'm not sure that this update is a good news
I've found this screenshot from a youtube video.
Someone with ~60M master building points can expect to loose something between 3M and 4M
So if nothing change,he would have invested 200M ressources for "nothing". (not nothing but you got it)

As construction costs change, the High Score will also change, right?
Probably, but it should not.
Since not all the building costs have changed, they should keep the score according to the invested resources.
For example:
Player A invested 100M resources in TownHall and he gets 1M score points from this (we exclude the reducers for the sake of simplicity).
Player B invested 100M resources in other buildings and he also gets 1M score points.
After the update, that TownHall would be worth ~35M resources (rough estimation). If the High Score will be updated to the new building costs, Player A will be downgraded in HighScore, while Player B will be not. Which is unfair, because they invested the same amount of resources into buildings.
This is why they should not change the High Score.
I may be wrong but I think that this situation already happened and the high score was updated.

Good suggestion but to be honnest they have to improve the ROI of donations first.
Particularly for high levels mines.
They tease us they are looking to improve ressources production.
Let's wait but yeah, It's a nice quick win

I didn't get it.
When you send a spy in a city, you can view the buildings of the city.
If someone has a temple level 20 and didn't assign any priest, you already know it.
Could be helpfull eventually if you want to know the assignations in all the cities but it's far too specific for me.
There is more urgent things to do and you can already do that by spying the coordinates of the cities and send spies in each.

It's maybe not a bug but I didn't get it.
I have migrated in a server with +25% bonus for merchant ship speed.
There is also 2% bonus because of the festival of world.
Why when I plan to launch a boat with merchandises in the trading port, the game precised 2 hours of traject but once the boat is launched, it's only (almost) 30 minutes ?

C'est normal, si tu as demandé la migration, ton compte sur alpha est bloqué car il est en migration.
Tu vas avoir accès dans le lobby à ton compte sur le nouveau serveur choisi d'ici quelques minutes si ce n'est pas déjà fait

It is not really a question but a remark
I'm playing in an old server (2008) and I've donate more than 600 000k wood in mines.
I've simulated which level will be my mines after the fusion if I will place my cities in 4 islands and if I will donate the same amount for each city.
The result is a (clear) underestimation of the ressources lost without helping hands etc (depends of too many factors).
Without the donation of other players, I will lost each month :
100 000 wood
400 000 sulphur
500 000 wine
400 000 marble
100 000 crystal
There is one issue in the game : Players don't produce enough ressources in comparison of their needs.
The new building with gods was created to help us.
Let be honnest, my production of ressources will not be as good as before even after the donation of other players.
The cost to increase mine is too expansive at medium/high levels and players donate before the new buildings because they produced more wood that their needs.
Since this update, it is not the case anymore, and donations decrease
I understand why players in new servers want to go in a whole new server and why it was communicated to the GF.
I perfectly understand that everybody can't be happy with the fusion and the GF have to make choices.
Still, it's hard to swallow.
What server will you choose, since some new servers will get + 25% to +50% bonuses, so that should more than compensate for lower mines levels. also with lower levels you will employ less citizens and will thus get more gold and you could buy extra resources from other players.
You are right, depending of the parameter of the server, I could increase my production for the ressource chosen.
Nevertheless, if Ichoose the parameter 1 "Same as before", I will loose part of my production.
Also, we can't increase sulphour and marble for example. So in my example (I repeat the numbers or clearly an underestimation), I am absolutely not sure that the parameter of the server will compense the lost
3 gold is not a fair compensation for 1 marble lost. It will cost at least 9 golds to rebuy in the market and I'm only talking about golds

The game is 16 years old and they still don't know how to implement it sadly
You know something about limited resources (=developer hours) and priorities, right?
Oh please. This issue gets adressed every year. This one gets always pushed back cus of low priority and it gets actually annoying the more towns you have.
Depending of how they coded the game, it can be a true nightmare to fix.
If I'm not wrong, each city has their own ID and I guess they sorted the cities by ID.
I agree, if I've the opportunity to sort the cities by myself I will, but it's fair to say there is more urgent topics
