Attack him and take his port. That will abort the loading time and force his ships to launch.

He switched from loading sulfur to loading one spearman over 6 months and 11 days . I attacked (as suggetsed above) the port with 100 fire ships
he had his whole navy on that port
and the fight lasted only two rounds but that did not affect the loading time

You can't just attack; you have to occupy his port.

to occupy his port, you have to win the battle.
Better get in vacations.
When you are in vacations noone can send anything and of course you don't spend or buy ambrosia.
Probably the one who is sending a troop to you, want to sabotage the company.
-
true but how can someone get the loading of one unit and previoulsy one sulfur to take 6 plus months.
-
He doesn't have a port at all. Just land and desert and he is using a freighter
-
of course he does not have a port
but how does one unit takes 6 month to load ( not talking about travel time, just loading time is taking moer thna 6 months the travel time is about 15 days)

Yes, you have to win the battle, but I thought that was implied.

I was expecting with the statement "Attack him and take his port" that the "take his port" was doing the heavy lifting that the attack has to succeed.
