Dear All,
While I was not personally banned due to the Hydra issue, some of my friends received a 3-month ban. I do agree that exploiting glitches is wrong and should be punished. However, I believe that a 3-month ban is excessive.
A more reasonable solution would have been a 1-week ban along with removing all Hydra-related progress, especially since many players invested large amounts of gold, resources, and even Ambrosia into the event.
Many of them also spent real money to buy Ambrosia specifically for this event, which makes the punishment feel even more severe and unfair when all of that effort and spending is lost.
It is also important to acknowledge that this glitch was very easy to trigger. If something can be activated by something as simple as pressing 0 and Enter, then part of the responsibility also lies in preventing such issues through proper system checks.
I respectfully encourage the administration to reconsider the punishment length and adjust it to something more proportional, such as 1–2 weeks.
Note: I am not defending the exploit. I am only saying that the punishment does not match the scale of the mistake.
In the end, everyone wants a fair and enjoyable game. Fair punishments build trust, keep players loyal, and show them the goal is to fix mistakes not to push players a way. I hope this situation can be reviewed in a way that is fair to both the players and the game itself
best regards
