Forge is a must if you are fighting. Poseidon is indeed very convenient but is also a must in war to wave more quickly and a must if you are into trading: it gets you there far faster. Colossus is insurance. The rest? I agree.

Eh, I've fought and won whole wars without a forge (especially on the older servers, where you can only find them on sulphur islands). For fighting the most important factors are online time and how much troops you can produce and retain. The forge is only there for that little bit extra, when you're fighting a true peer opponent (and a lot of "fighters" avoid fighting peer opponents anyway). Trading I'l give you, but for waving? A battle round takes 15min, no matter what and your waves need to arrive within that timeframe. Wave takes 15min to arrive? You send them just bevore a round starts.It's a simple matter of timing. Granted, poseidon might make it easier if your running your waves from the next island over. But I'd call that a pure convenience again. I have seen the colossus put to good use in wars, but actually not as often as one would think. Ultimately it's deterrance or insurance like you said, and half the time having your cities on a colossus island is almost as good as actually having the temple ready to use 24/7.

Infact there's no reason for anyone not to have unlimited forge AND dolphin without sacrifice.

The only sacrifice would be the massive gold drain (aside from the building space for the temple). You need to make 1/5 of your citizens into priests for the miracle to work at lvl 5. For me the would be 1.000 per city or a loss of 3.000 g/h! If I want unlimited forge AND dolphin (without theocracy) I'd need to build temples in 13 cities and lose 39.000 gold per hour. That's almost a million each day and for me just not worth it. Even the 18.000 g/h for the flipper isn't worth it for me. I often get the impression, that a lot of the people that talk about how good miracles are, dont have really high level town halls.

If you're after the high score, you'll avoid building temples.

Well, with gold you can buy ressources which you can use to build stuff and get points. The miracles on the other hand? Forge is only useful if your fighting (and even then only if you care about the kill rate). The flipper is a pure convenience thing (granted it's VERY convenient). And the rest are completely useless.

So yeah, for a builder (or anyone who wants to get ahead in the highscore) using miracles is a constant ressource drain, that doesnt generate any points at all. Didn't think that needed to be spelled out.

The minimal price setting is only relevant in case the buyer changes his offered price while your ships are underway. In practice that happens almost never and it's save to just ignore the button.

If you want to sell for a higher price than someone else is willing to buy for, you either put it in your own offers and wait (hope) for someone to come and buy for that price, or you contact the other player directly to tell him you'd like to sell for a higher price, so he can adjust his offer (though I can tell you that would most often be declined).

What is also true is that an update has been asking for years to make the game faster, not slower.

I mean, you'll need a lot less wine now. Just an example I have Town hall 37 and max future for a total population of 5090.With Tavern 44 and Museum 19 that's 721 wine/hour. After the update that's down to 370 (without even upgrading the wine press). Before the update I needed 1 wine town for 2 others.

Now I'm estimating 1 : 3 or 4

Es war doch schon immer so, dass man erst dann eine neue Kolonie gründet, wenn die SHS in allen anderen Städten hoch genug sind, um Korruption zu verhindern. Die Verluste sind sonst so hoch, das holst du mit der neuen Stadt niemals auf.

Also ICH würde die Produktion an die Höhe der Mienen knüpfen (z.B. Stufe 1-15 Normal, 16-30 x2, 31-45 x4, 46-60 x8). Dann lohnt sich auch das Spenden wieder. Dazu dann noch eine Prozentuale Erhöhung über Zukunft der Wirtschaft.

nobody Ich tendiere in meinen Überlegungen momentan zu 3 Lagern und keine Halde als effizienteste Variante. Ursprünglich wurde die Halde ja mal eingeführt, damit man nicht die halbe Stadt mit LH's vollstellen muss, um Palast 11 zu bauen (ich kenne noch Spieler, die das gemacht haben). Das ist jetzt nicht mehr nötig und die Halde an sich abgesehen von den Baumeisterpunkten sinnlos. Wobei ich natürlich auch nicht wirklich Lust habe 12 Halden 40 abzureissen.

Rein rechnerisch braucht es sogar nur 2xLH 75/74 für Palast 20. Aber du hast natürlich recht, dass es durchaus möglich ist, dass GF noch irgendwo an den Stellschrauben dreht. Darum habe ich ja auch nur geschrieben, das man darüber nachdenken kann.

PS: Ich hatte mich übrigens geirrt, einige der neuen Gebäudestufen brauchen höhere Lagerkappa als der Palast 20 (deutlich höhere sogar)

Tatsächlich reichen jetzt 2 Lager theoretisch für sämtliche neuen Gebäudestufen aus. Ist nicht unbedingt die ressieffektiveste Variante, aber wenn dir solche Optimierungen eh egal sind, dann kann man in deinem Fall tatsächlich über Abriss der Halde nachdenken. Das "einzige" wofür sie noch gut ist, sind massig Baumeisterpunkte und nach deiner Aussage ist dir das ja nicht wichtig.

Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich bin auch der Meinung, dass 1 oder 2 zusätzliche Bauplätze sehr gut wären. Aber ich halte sie nur aufgrund dieses Updates nicht für zwingend notwendig (wobei ich auch zugebe, dass ich Glück habe - mein Delta account stand kurz davor, Architekt/Zimmerei abzureissen, weil sonst nichts anderes mehr geht).
