Does anyone know the maximum building level for the God's Shrine? I am building level 27 now....

Once you have enough colonies, build time is irrelevant. While you are waiting for something to finish in colony #1, you can work on something in colony #2, then number 3 and so on. The limiting feature will be resources and not build time.

What happens when you upgrade the Artist's Workshop? What happens when you destroy it?
Great questions. As you upgrade it, better works of art are made available that increase happiness when put in the museum. When you destroy the workshop the works of art in the Museum remain and still generate happiness.

How about an Artist's Workshop? It would function similar to the Barrack's or Shipyard, but instead of creating units, the workshop would create art--statues, paintings, music, sculptures, murals, etc. The artwork would then be placed in the museum to generate happiness and can be substituted for cultural treaties. The art can be shipped so you could have one artist's workshop and ship the art to your colonies. You can also sell them in the trading post. Higher level art creates more happiness so has more value but, of course, requires more resources to create.

When do the rest of the servers get this update? I am on Beta and if we are getting it soon I can shift my focus to start preparing.
