    The downfall of ikariam :closedthread:


    It is probably not something they can fix by adding more hardware power since they would probably do it,
    the problem is in poor implementation that that has now come to light.

    We have been warned with ambush event :)



    Is this issue going to be tackled or just continuously monitored if it continues after the merges?


    If not please let us know so we can quit our efforts to play it.

  • BUG - Degraded server performance srv2 EN

    We are having trouble playing on this server after the merge. :thumbdown:


    It was ~fine in the beginning, but over time, it has become slower and slower. It now takes around 5 seconds for the loader to accept a cultural treaty or open a building.

    In most cases, it takes 5-10 seconds to switch between towns, and sometimes more than 20 seconds to scroll through islands.

    Please look into this before it becomes completely unplayable.

  • Server Merge Additional Questions

    The issue is merging 16-year-old servers with those that are only 3 years old. How do we close that gap if we aim to be at the top of some highscore categories?

    You can catch someone who started 3-5 years before you, but this seems like mission impossible.




    It's nice that GF acknowledged players' feedback and will think again about the server options they offered (option 1 is overpowered compared to the others and will be preferred by most players so it will leave other servers inactive like they have it now).. Why to offer more research points in all servers?



    btw, it's funny to read all these comments about donations. Why didn't you actively participate in building your islands?

    The new servers offer increased resource production, and with the latest upgrades, the game introduced the God's Shrine, which massively boosts resource production...

  • (no Bug) Reverted actions during the night

    Hello, was there some problem during the night?

    All actions with my transport ships that I did yesterday and expected it to be finished during the night were reverted, nothing happened. I sent one pillage with normal cargo ships and 3-4 resource transports with freighters. No pillage report and no transports happened :/
