    You're free to use a VPN for Discord. Ikariam as a whole consists of more than just Turkey and yes, we can not magically reverse decisions YOUR government has made. There is literally nothing WE could do about Turkey banning Discord, nothing.

    As for Ikariam dying....I've been with Ikariam since 2008 now. I hear about its death at least since 2010. So far, it's dying hella slow.

    So why don't you set 2 links: one to the forum, one to discord. And everyone gets the chance to choose.

    Because it's already crowded up there and the choice was either keeping the link to the already hardly used platform forum or put the link to the already much more used platform Discord. So I chose Discord. It's as simple as that.

    It's pretty clear that if you cancel the link you try to drain the forum. No one will save the link. New players won't even get notice of the forum.

    That is a problem between Discord and you however.

    A server admin can't even determine any of this.

    The only thing we set up is that you need a verified cell number connected to your Discord and that is simply to battle the bots and spammers we'd otherwise have.

    No, that is just a not too super clear denotation of what it does.

    Unlike other similar buildings, this one shows you the effect the next level would have. As you've reached the max effect already, the next level would give you -0% reduction, so none.


    I agree, this is not super clear and confusing as it differs from the display in other similar buildings.

    Actually, in this case it isn't. Yes, I realise that reduction stops at 50%, but the Optician improves Experiments, and that is the subject of my question.

    It actually is, seeing how the Optician is LITERALLY mentioned there.

    I'm wondering why GF is wondering that players ask these questions, trying to see ANY SENSE in leveling up the reducers > 50.
    Does GF REALLY wondering about people who don't see ANY advantage in useless leveling.
    And don't come with highscore ... why upgrade a useless building for highscore when i have lots of upgrades that bring me (minimal) advantage PLUS highscore?

    Empty your cache and relog. This should be a caching issue and work fine with an empty cache.

    I find that hard to believe. There are global rules. I am the one making them. I made no such rule.

    Having said that: I am quite sure the Italian staff did not enforce a general prohibition on pillaging inactive accounts.

    There may be cases in which pillaging an inactive account may constitute a rule violation, I can't and won't exclude that, however, generally that is certainly not the case and strongly depends on the actual situation and can not be generally stated.

    The contents are:

    • Changes:
      • New Chronos’ Forge building reduces the construction time of all buildings in the town where it is built (excluding itself)
      • Removed the maximum construction time of 20 days. NOTE: The in-game help displays the construction times excluding the effects of Chronos’ Forge, hence the values can be extremely high!
      • Workshop bonuses for military land and sea units have been increased by a factor of 5
      • The increment for the price increase for reducing building construction times with Ambrosia has been increased to 1 hour
      • The maximum price for reducing building construction times with Ambrosia has been increased
      • There is no longer a limit to the number of Merchant Ships which can be purchased with gold
      • The effect which can be provided by Hephaestus’ Forge has been changed; the damage increase per level has been reduced while the armour buff has been increased
      • New maximum level for all island resource deposits
      • New maximum level for all buildings. Some of these levels only provide highscore points (details below)
      • The effect of buildings which reduce construction costs (Carpenter’s Workshop, Wine Press, Architect’s Office, Optician, and Firework Test Area) is limited to 50%
      • The effect of buildings which increase resource production (Forester’s House, Winery, Stonemason, Glassblower, and Alchemist’s Tower) is limited to 140%
      • Palace levels 21 and above do not allow you to build more towns. The current maximum of 21 towns (1 capital and 20 colonies) remains unchanged, but the player can occupy enemy towns despite having reached the maximum number of towns, assuming the Palace level is high enough
      • Palace and Governor’s Residence levels 21 and above can combat the corruption caused by certain government forms (Aristocracy and Oligarchy) to reach 0% corruption, even if you have the maximum number of towns
      • The tax rate on the Black Market cannot be lower than 1%
      • The minimum training time for units in the Barracks, Shipyard and Hideout is 1 second per unit and 10 seconds per training order
      • The effect of the Sea Chart Archive is limited to a 90% travel time reduction
    • Bug fixes:
      • It was not possible to withdraw Freighters from a transport mission unless one Merchant Ship was available
      • After choosing to buy the maximum number of units at the Trading Post, this value was not updated automatically when changing the number of ships selected for the mission
      • Various backend fixes
