    Neverminded, they were back now. but they were missing for a total of roughly 17 minutes. They were not scattered or on any missions.


    but still a bug worth reporting.


    in a future event to report a bug, is there another way to contact GF directly about the bugs or do we just post here and hope something happens?


    actually there is another bug i noticed too i might as well list it here as well. After server updates, usually total troop upkeep costs are voided for a couple of minutes. i never timed it but maybe i will next time.


    anyone else share these bugs? or have the same issues?

    I tried to log out and log back in but nothing.


    Is there something im missing? Why did I use amborisia to send out merchant ships when my tradeships are actually GONE.

    Ever since gameforge has been insisting players to multi account, I was just wondering, if you have no fear, to tell us how many alts you have on alpha


    theres less than 2k total users, less than 50 active at any given time.


    i want to work out the numbers of how many "real" players are playing this game still and youre not just fighting the same person that has several accounts per server?


    from my three weeks back what ive learned is gameforge is tryin so hard to stay alive by insisting players mutliaccount, to compete you must have a main, an alt for battles and proxy battles, and one alt for farming, because of fleet contact the only way to make this work is if you trade someone doing the exact same thing ur doing. resource alt trade with someone elses resource alt. by simple definition, you would farm their resources alts and them vice versa, so this way there will never be fleet contact.


    just by this alone thats at least 3 accounts one person has per server. im sure theres plenty of other reasons why they would make more, ie to inflate alliance score, fill up empty islands near your bases, resource bonuses per member for leader, for # of members in alliance and what not. These are all reasons people will multi account because theres just not enough individuals to attack because of gameforges incompetence in differentating real players from cheaters, and now the game is all filled with cheaters. if you multi account, youre a cheater. just like hacking or botting. any game that supports this kind of activity is doing it for their business best interest and not for their players. also on a sidenote, if players didnt take this approach, the resources need to fully build 13+ towns or more goes up exponentially. i been looting hard since i been back on actives for 3 weeks and i still havent got a one gov res level, putting that into perspective.


    even if you looted 200k every attack, and you were only able to make 5 attacks a day assuming people had that many resources, it would take you just about two weeks for ONE towns gov res. and thats for gov res 12. 2 weeks x 12 towns half a year of constant farming for 1 gov res. NOW lvl 13,14, etc. you can only imagine. with gameforge banning people left right and center like its their job has created this issue, and their attempts to fix it, theyre just promoting bad buisness. this is 100% a pay to win game. it was alot more fair back then when they were strict but everything they stood for, they changed over time like hypocrites. Sorry for any admins or GO that hasnt hired between 08-12


    one thing i know for sure. is any active members on the top 50 builders highscore on the alpha server has a 99.9% chance of running at least 2 accounts.


    what is the purpose in the game that the only way to stay competitive is to create more accounts? game forge banned 99.9% of the real players just to keep the game alive with bots, (ie people with more than none account)


    i know this thread will not get replies. Because anyone doing so is cheating and youre not going to publicly announce what youre doing unless you got big balls which most dont hence they make as many accounts as they can.


    if thats the case. cant we go back to old rules, no IP sharing/one account per server?


    i guess if they did that, the game would die overnight and they know it.

    This game is so desperate to stay alive that they changed the rules to let player multi account after losing like 99% of their player base.


    This game is being played by a few players its all the same people on different accounts.


    How is that fun playing by yourself.. youre SOOO good..


    GF is despicable if the rules were like this back then, the game wouldnt have died the way it did.

    Who the hell makes dozens of accounts on a game thats like 20 years old with less than a dozen active users. Those players along with gameforge need to reconsider and re-access their life value, if they even have one.

    I started this game in 08 forgot when i stopped probably 2010-2012. I returned two weeks ago and the game has changed much. Which I can adapt and understand.


    Now after dropping a few bucks to buy ambrosia to get some necessities, a new addition to the game they added were favors. Now favors itself is kind of broken. Its makes it unfair for players who have all their towns on the same island. like myself, i have all wine towns.


    Today, I came to a realization, the only way to effectively play this game is by multi accounting. Back in 08 a bunch of my family, friends, classmates were banned from the game from unclear rules and all have quit. I do find this game enjoyable to an extent that this was my third account back then after first two got banned, i made this last one to play with my friends before they got banned.


    All history aside. Today I been attacked by a player, which is part of the game. Now this is where i find the issue. This player was clearly multi accounting, you can tell my the time stamps and message replies from this guy and non replies, its all very convenient timing and hes even admitting hes got at least three accounts and i am being attacked because i spied one of his accounts.

    Because i spied this one account he said he will attack me back with a higher level account he owns which he gave me the name of, then he used another account and moved three towns to my island and started occupying my towns and blockading all my harbors. I know this is his account because i message this person to stop and offered him a deal to be my militia. This person i spied on then replies right away knowing i message that person on the island about my plan to ask him to for mercenary work.


    so let me simplify this a bit if i can


    -I spied town A. main account

    -he send pirate raid to my account on his alt account B

    -2 ppl messages me about spying on one of their account A members (one i dont know if its his)

    -second message he says on account B that account A is his bigger account.

    -i send out fleet on response to pirate raid to his account B

    -he attacks blocks occupies all my towns with account D


    so just by following this sequence of events he admitted he has two accounts, the third one i know its his because of the info he told me there's no way anyone else would know. then after this one other account messages me and another occupies my town.


    So my realization is if this was back in the day, he would not be able to have more than one account and harrass me with at least three accounts. Is the only way to play this game with a multi accounting? buiild up an alt account just for spying and attacking?


    my frustration is i have 12 towns all wine always had this is strategically very strong build good for def and offense but in this situation i know there is no way i can fight back against a person with at least three accounts.


    in a 1v1 id probably still lose from lack of experience ive always only attacked inactives and have only attacked inactives since my return. This multi account player is really making me leave that game again.


    Is this a breach of rules? or is this legal and hes playing in the grey areas of the rules of the game because of so, this game is not worth playing anymore. because this player is pretty much cheating


    so in summary new players shouldn't even start this game and returning players should reconsider, the only way to play now is through multi accounting if you cant do that you might as well dont even bother because someone like so will ruin the game for you,


    if i had known multi accounting like this is possible, i wouldn't have dropped a single dime on ambrosia since coming back.

    upon research i found out triton engines and posiden was broken last year, however i can confirm triton engines are fixed.


    however what is the rule for posiden and is it fixed?


    you have to activate the wonder before sending out any trade ships or fleets correct? and no ships sent out prior to wonder activation will not be affected?

    I have a suggestion for a shop item, lets say for some ambrosia, you can swap the location of two buildings within your city.


    I think this would be a decent sell for someone like myself who wants all their buildings in the exact same locations in each town, there was less building spaces before.


    I could demolish and rebuilding the buildings but the time and resources would be immense for some buildings.


    if you have a town relocator, why can we have a building relocator or swapper within each cities?


    anyone else think this would be a good idea?


    I would like to hear some positive and negatives about this suggestion, it does not give a player any advantage over others unlike most items in shop. i think it would be a beautiful addition to the game.

    i played this game back in 08, i forgot what year i quit but it had to be before 2012. i just recently came back and the amount of tradeships has been increased by more than double.


    i banked over 700m before i stopped playing. upon return i dropped 400m+ to acquire tradeships 181-236.


    bought some phoenicean tradeships which cost an arm and leg and im still not maxed. hoping to by next happy hour. drop a paycheck into tradeships.. horrible..


    so my question is is there anyone with max tradeships in game. there shoud be a highscore for total tradeships since its almost impossible to max tradeships.


    can anyone with max tradeships or know the equation tell me the total costs of tradeships 237-380? i know for a fact its in the billions but how many?


    last question is if i drop all my gold into tradeships for the next little bit like a year or two. if they ever discount tradeships, will there be a refund for the extra gold spent or is it better to just bank the gold and hope for the cost of tradeships to drop?


    if i strictly farm gold with all my bonuses and no production, currently it'll take 4/5 days for the next tradeship which is kind of ridiculous does anyone else think? 14,871,821 for trade ship 237.. how long would it take for each tradeship to pay itself off? probably several years. there need to be a rebalancing to tradeship

    or lets give an example. youre theft security is 30k for each resources in every town, you have 12 towns and you finish rank 1 or 10,


    what is the max resources would you get for rank 1 and rank 10?

    so what is the maximum rewards we will get per say if your at a 1*theft security limit?


    does it just fill every town to the percentage of safe storage or is there a multiplier in there somewhere?

    let me rephrase the question.


    if my faith is at 100% when i activate wonder does it drop to lvl 4, 80% or does it go all the way to 0%?


    These guides dont do much justice hence i am on here asking questions on a game old enough to be my child.. lol

    wonders can be activated every 20%. im still trying to get my wonder to 100% but only at 65 currently.


    so question is if i max out wonder to 100% after i activate it, does it go to 0? or does it drop down to the next lowest bar which is 80% and the cooldown.

    to focus on expansion, probably any government that gives you building time reduction so you can get your discount buildings as high as possible.


    as for capital it really doesn't matter which town is capital, being capital gives a very slight satisfaction bonus.


    any extra satisfaction is never really a bad thing because you can reduce the amount of wine/hr your time consumes.


    one more thing for government is if your building and farming lots, you might not want any corruption in your towns.

    i personally run 12 wine towns and have ran only same island wine towns since the beginning. I have plenty of wine but I don't mind saving when I can.
