You do know what most people think about ikariam though. Most people left the game. So they think badly of it.
I did stop ones for a couple of years, not because i hated the game, but because my time could not be with Ikariam at that moment. Sometimes you just left a game because it is not your cup of tea.

I start playing somewhere in 2008 and i was triggerd by the idea that this game wil never end and will take a lot of time for personal growing.
Things constantly change during the last 14 years, and my personal goals changed with them.
I think the majority of the players never speak at places like this.
Everyone has the right to say they want, but please talk in person, not for "most people" because you don't know what "most people" think about Ikariam

In which case the simple truth is: Ikariam is not for them.
Sorry to say, but Ikariam never has been anything else than exactly that: a long term game.
And nowhere have we ever stated otherwise. That's the whole point of Ikariam, actually. Build your empire, maintain it, steer its fate. If you're in, you're in it for the long run. This isn't, never has been and never will be a sprint. It's a marathon.
I understand. I play this game from childhood. Sometime I say to my wife - I will give my main account to next generation I think it is fanny and no one have not seen something like this

Do not wait when others will give you more faster production of materials and do it by self with donating for island
