I've gotten the impression that they are investing in the game. After all, we've had quite a few major changes to the game in the last few years: New buildings, freighters, raising the building caps and allowing more towns, the hydra event... There are some devs working on the game. Maybe not exclusively, but someone's doing work on it beyond bug fixes.

Now whether they can easily put in an option to move buildings is another matter. It seems like it should be easy enough, but I'm not a coder. I know people have been asking for this feature for years, though.

Now that the server merge of 2024 has concluded and WLS is on a different server from MAFIA, I am declaring this war to be over.

So the server merge of 2024 has come to a close. And with it, the war. Lost chose to go to server 2 (Kreon) while MAFIA chose server 1. Given that, I am declaring this war over.

People who are in lots of combats are more likely to run into combat-related bugs than people not fighting.

Is this a bug, or is this how the game is supposed to work now?

NIGHTMARE attacked the city of Dras-Leona on 38:49. He didn't like the wall, so he started sending more of his troops on defend missions to the same city. The town owner withdrew most of his own troops, leaving NIGHTMARE fighting his own units. Legalities aside, is this how the game is supposed to work now or is this battle glitching? Normally if someone sends troops/ships into a battle and his alliance is on the other side, the troops/ships refuse to fight because an ally is on the opposing side.

This is on US Alpha. Town owner is Eragon. The player whose troops are in question is NIGHTMARE.

Please note: I am not the one saying they need to be 4 different buildings. I'm only repeating what has been stated by the powers that be over the years.

I remember playing back in the day before the depot was introduced. In those days, the we had to tear down buildings and build additional warehouses in order to upgrade GRs beyond a certain level. It was pretty standard to tear things down, upgrade the GR, then tear down the extra warehouses and rebuild the previous buildings. *shrugs* Personally, I'm neutral on it.

Gameforge has created a server where people who want gold pillaging can play that type of game. That is the war server. The people who don't want to play that style of game play on the normal servers. Considering how many war servers needed to be deleted and merged into a single server as compared to all of the other servers, it seems like non-gold-pillaging is the far more popular version of the game.

I had an account on the us and uk war servers for years. Those servers were so dead that I managed to place in the top 50 in piracy a few times with 0 piracy points. (I spent the entire time in vmode.) I think one of my servers had less than 150 total accounts on it by the time of the merge. Even the "dead" servers of the normal format aren't that vacant.

Gold pillaging does not increase long-term gameplay. If anything, it has the reverse effect.

I can add a few things since I was talking with him at the time. This was all taking place on Alpha.us. The username involved is Eragon.

His ground troops were caught in a loop in his town of Dreadnought and the game was saying anarchy had broken out. This is the same anarchy as when someone switches governments. But, while that was going on, his navy was easily able to move around. He navy knew he hadn't changed governments, but his ground troops thought he had.

Here's evidence that at least part of the game knew he wasn't under anarchy at the time.

I'm going to have to agree with Draxo on this one. If you want to see how exciting gold pillaging is, check out the war servers. It's different from how it was designed the first time around.

I'm one of those people who hated gold pillaging in the beginning. I've tried the new war servers and I didn't like it there, either.

If I remember correctly, it's because they are different buildings. You paid resources to build the building that's there. If you want a different building, you can tear it down and build the other one. (It's not like this is the first time servers have merged or anything.)

This has been suggested many times over the years and been shot down. It's why I have this in one of my towns.

This town has been warped around between marble and wine so many times I have one of each of those boosters. (I was loathe to tear down the level 32 stonemason when I warped it to a wine island again.)

Tonight I had 2 battles going simultaneously, one in Polis 8 and this one in Orthiad. I was originally waving flameships from Orthiad, so Adonis-666 sent a fleet to block the port. I moved to another town and started this battle right after he landed.

Adonis hit the white flag on round 10. Meanwhile, I was also fighting Nightmare and Kratos in Adonis's town of Polis 8.

On round 17 I hit the white flag. This battle had been 2v1 for hours and was destined to become 3v1 soon. I settled for the damage win.

It shouldn't take 3 minutes for spears to load. The issue is they were having to wait for the owner of the town to finish loading his cargo ships before my spears could load. The spears were waiting in line behind those goods.
