Form of government and capital placement

  • Hi guys!

A question which I cant seem to find the answer to. I have 10 colonies and a capital, 5 marble town and 2 for other other resource of which a marble town is the capital of.

Should I consider changing the location? What should I take into consideration? Does it even matter?

And secondly, I know it will be too specific to answer but what would the generally best form of government for a player who is 95% farming and building with full focus on expansion? Currently I have democracy but it seems as if i no longer have a need for this boost of happiness, I was considering aristocracy but that is has even less value since its mainly building time which is benign. So what might be a good option for me? What is a popular one maybe?

    Thanks !

  • to focus on expansion, probably any government that gives you building time reduction so you can get your discount buildings as high as possible.

as for capital it really doesn't matter which town is capital, being capital gives a very slight satisfaction bonus.

any extra satisfaction is never really a bad thing because you can reduce the amount of wine/hr your time consumes.

one more thing for government is if your building and farming lots, you might not want any corruption in your towns.

    hope this helps a bit

i personally run 12 wine towns and have ran only same island wine towns since the beginning. I have plenty of wine but I don't mind saving when I can.
