buildings closet

  • I don't know if someone asked about it or if it was suggested, I have no idea how to search about it, but...
    Why don't the devs add an option for "building closet"? sometimes the buildings are arranged differently among the colonies and it can painful for the OCD players or just annoying.
    An option for "building closet" will work as "edit mode" when all of the buildings (except city hall, pirate fortress and city wall) will move to the closet and then the player can rearrange them as he/she/it/whatever wants to. For example - the dumps/depots and warehouses will be in the same area of the city, or the architect's office/carpenter/firework test area/optician/wine cellar will be together, the museum and the tavern, etc.

    You will not be able to confirm the new layout unless ALL of the buildings are placed, the "confirm" button will be grayed or there will be a notification. If the player confirms it anyway - the new layout won't be saved and it will remained as the origin layout before entering the edit mode.

    The option may be cost some ambrosia if the company wants to earn some money at the expense of destruction and rebuild time.

  • This idea reminds me of: "Dominations" game from NEXON, where you would create your warbase and regular base.


    And the base cannot be saved / activated until all of the buildings are placed on the map.

  • I like the idea.. got some ugly layouts in a few cities but im not about to destroy buildings to fix cosmetics.


    not sure if they find it worth their time to do but I can't see any harm in this honestly.

    I made this suggestion many years ago ...

    and the staff even approved it!

    but it was never implemented in the game ....

    The purpose was this :

    those who have old and already very big accounts probably didn't give a precise and identical layout to the buildings in the polis.

    This resulted in very different polis maps with the same types of buildings in different areas.

    Only with experience did I learn to put the same types of buildings in the same place.

    In this way, when passing quickly from one polis to another, you can find what you are looking for at a glance ....

    For me the usefulness of the suggestion was this
