  • in my exp if an island has high level mines it's usually cause 1 or 2 players donate heavily, most people donate squat..

    I can't speak of the tower cause I've never been on a island that had one.


    I don't want any co-op options until im givin more options for dealing with the bad actors and that will never ever happen because "think of the builders" and "this ain't a war game".


    P.S I see no reason to even have shared island faith, if you don't have a temple you don't count in the calculation anyway.

    Yeah, it is the worst thing in this update. If we got entire new field of research, give us much content – I mean researches which would cost millions of points (content for months, e.g. with Futures like in other fields).
    I hope this Mythology will be develop (next Futures could give us for example +1% or 2% to production or something to easier reach the favor).

    For both experience and development, it is better to have smaller updates fast then very large updates now and then. This way you can control both impact and opinions and improve, rather then waste time with a large update which might not be what we as users would like. Give feedback what you expect from the building/functionality. Yes, there are a lot of gods, but how do you see them improve/change the way of playing the game? These Gods now function to increase gold/production materials, what else could be improved?


    For me this update seems to make it necessary to make use of the cargo ships, or buy more normal ships. I got around shipping 2 million goods per 24 hours most of the time, but with this update I have to spend more time, or use my time more efficient. I think I will start using the cargo ships.


    Good job to GF. Like badidol explained in earlier posts, all updates are planned in a holistic way. Looks like GF is getting the needs from requests of us players and instead of just implementing those as is, thinks of even better solutions. Very happy with how the game is evolving!

  • Smaller updates over time also gives the community a little nudge to wake up again, which is also nice.

    I made the opposite assessment though: I will probably need more cargo ships than regular trade ships. But my built is different in the sense that my towns are as much apart as they could theoretically be. :)

    For Pan, didn't let me to donate to 1000, i was blocked at 900, so I moved to next god, Dionysos... why 900 and not 1000?

    For all gods and all towns, it's the same duration, or is just a coincidence that I donated at the same time?

    Because you did not have enough favor when you tried Pan, but you got more favor after this. Pan works just fine with 1000/1000

    45% maximum blessing is the maximum percent of resources you can get if you have 1000/1000

    If you expand the building more than the number of towns you will get more blessing (you could reach 82%)

  • yeeey, building level gives you the percent of what you receive. i guess it's a percent from basic extraction, excluding other bonuses. so you need a big building level. a bit expensive, but in only one town... it deservs, when you play for years.

  • i will keep the Gos'd Shrine at a minimum working level (maybe 25) before chose it's final place. ikariam is bad when it comes the discussion about buildings spots. when i will chose a final place for the building, i will make it at maximum. at a first glance, we didn't know what it is and what it does, a bit poor initial presentation (like, this building is 1 permanent per account, not per city), but well. (Workshop is one per account, but for a limited time)

    looks like bringing a bit fun for... not old, but active players.

    i dont see the benefits for multi accounts, as earlier posts said so.

  • If it really is only 100 favor per god per three days, then I feel sorry for those poor souls that have spent hundreads of ambrosia to get, say, two months of blessing in advance :D Looks like it's only meant to give you peace of mind that you don't have to worry about it expiring for a little longer (+some favor saved, but it's marginal).


    It's only been two days and I already have 63% bonus to wood in all 12 towns. It's just awesome. Building the sanctuary in a town with all five reducers at 50lv is a breeze and according to my calculations, only at 36th level does it begin to be more expensive than upgrading all foresters by 1lv. But even then it's important to remember that the sanctuary is kind of an 'all in one' production booster. Good job GF.
