    The only way that would qualify is if you knew how to provoke the bug. ;)

  • Generally the daily tasks rewards much more than the previous one , it's normal including some bugs like any version in the past, day by day all will be fixed until settle down. Being active means you love Ikariam, so take it easy and enjoy it.

    I am curious in what way are the rewards better than the previous one?

    before i would get 150k wood on each account on weekly base, now i dont even bother checking them or watching Cine-Theater.

    There were originally 13 tasks (12 for me, as I'd completed the Researches). I would usually complete about 275 points/day, converting to one town for a 12k marble (say) bonus there. That costed in better for me than doing +20% (for 24 hours, throughout these calculations obviously) for 900 points. Anyway, let's say it earned me 8x12=96k marble and maybe 10k wood with any points left over. (I'm ignoring Cinetheatre goods bonuses throughout these rough calculations.) Note that carrying points into another week wasn't an option, either.


    Now, I get 50 points Cinetheatre, usually both Easy tasks = 100, on average 1 of 2 passives = 50 (30% chance both passives, 10% neither). Hard - let's say 1 of 2 for 100 points. And 2 tasks completed = 50 more. (I've done all 6 about 5 times so far, without putting too much effort into it). Say 350 points per day = 2450 per week. That gets me 18k wood (120 points), 22k each luxury (4x150 = 600), +20% wood everywhere (700 points), +20% marble (700). That's 2120 points used, so technically +20% wine (say) every 2 weeks. OK, that's a little less in overall marble earnings for this account (10K maybe? I'm not going to work it out accurately) - but it's way more in overall goods. And I've underestimated the actual earnings, as I currently get 2 luxuries +20% almost every week.


    The above was for a 12 town account (13 towns actually, but the new one doesn't produce goods yet). But even my Godly Protection account does slightly better - probably about 160 goods more per week. Anyway, surely you don't want massive rewards for these side issue tasks? It's extra goods/income for not much extra effort. I think the rewards levels overall are pretty reasonable, though a couple of them seem to be out of balance on the initial release. I suspect more varied ones will be coming soon, as I believe Badidol intimated somewhere.

    Yup.. I think we had a post about this a while back in some circumstances the 20% bonus might pay off, high mines, many towns of a particular good..

    But ya in general the lump some was a better option.. that remains even today it's your best bang for your favor.

    The sucky thing is now that it has a 1 week cool down you're pretty much forced to blow it on junky rewards.. it also sucks because the wine reward was esp useful if you had a town that went dry and you could use it to get the tavern up and running quickly.

    Ah well.. is what it is.
