The real black market of ikariam

    Has the exploit been fixed where people buy ambrosia with proxies for much cheaper in ridiculously discounted countries such as Turkey? I guess developers made that harder to do but at least recently APPARENTLY it was still possible to buy Turkey coupons from those 3rd party website coupon sellers for epic discounts and activate them with unblocked vpn.


    (Asking for a friend...I'm joking of course) If this still exists then isn't it kind of annoying that best exploiters -------) best value?

    It's not allowed to use VPN or proxy (at least from the ones which are officially marked up as such you cannot even login). Using the IP address of other country is not against rules.


    From developers' side there is nothing to fix. Another question would be to how are you going to prove that there is something against rules.

    I'm assuming they don't want everyone to get discounted ambrosia?


    Making the website believe you are from somwhere else requires "illegal" program so it's against the rules as you said.


    How would they prevent this? I have no idea. The reason for this post was to find out if there was going to be something more done about it or if it's just going to be like this. I will interpret this answer as "nothing will change"
