hello everyone with how old and kinda useless the old battle system is i wanna propose a 2nd battle system.
how the 2n battle system will work is very easy it depands if the battle starts with a front/2nd front it go's like this.
-1st sea battle. if the battle starts with any of these ships it will end the same like it does right now meaning when none of the follwing ships are left ships scatter. ram.steam rams,ballista,mortar ship,catapult ship,fire ship,
-2.land battle if the battle starts with any of these units it will end like it acts normally meaning when none of them is is left units scatter. hoplite,swordsman,spearman,steam giant,archer,sulpur carabineer,slinger,spartans.
if none of these land or sea units are pressent at the start of the battle a 2nd battle system go' into effect
-1.1 for sea battles if none of the units are there no ships will auto scatter they willl fight untill surrender by player or morale drops to 0% this means submarine,rocket ships.paddle speedboats,balloon carriers and finally tenders CAN BE KILLED IN ACTION. the tenders will only join if no sea units are left.
how the front in this is for the both sides.
SEA BATTLE ALTERNATIVE ROUND 2.
this battle start if at the start of round 1 none of these are pressent ram.steam rams,ballista,mortar ship,catapult ship,fire ship keep in mind adding them wont swap the battle typ ones it starts with none it will end with everything death a surrender or 0% morale defeat whatever comes 1st
-front starts with steam rams,ram ships, submarines and finally paddle speedboats.
2nd line starts with the normal mortar ships then catapult ships and ballista if non are there it fills with this instead. submarines, then rocket ships and then balloon carriers and finally tenders when 0 ships are left.
the siege slot will act normally rocket ship,submarines if there not ment to fill the other slots ofcourse and ya have some left
the carrier and paddle speedboats act normally however. if there any because the front 2nd line will filled first meaning these slots can end up being not used.
then when no ships or the morale drops to 0% the battle ends. with eather all ships destroyed or them scattering for 4 hours
LAND BATTLE 2ND SCENARIO
this kicks in when the battle starts with none of these units hoplite,swordsman,spearman,steam giant,archer,sulpur carabineer,slingers,spartans.
this acts like any otther battle it stays on 2nd battle formation even if normal front and 2nd line are added only thing that changes is they will be normally added to the front and 2nd line the end result will still be that normally retreating units wont retreat unless morale drops to 0% a surrender is given nothing is left or the attacker retreats.
-front line will be filled with following units battering rams if there death,low flying gyrochoppers.
2nd line bettering rams if there death low flying balloon bombers if there death catapults if there death mortars.
siege slot acts the same fills with mortars,catapults,battering rams if any are left.
the balloon bombers and gyro acts the same if the front and 2nd line dont use them all
chefs and doctors will join the front if the 2nd line is death entirelly.
ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTION
NONE OF THESE SHIPS CAN BE USED TO BLOCK A LAND BATTLE IN ANY WAY tenders,paddle speedboat,balloon carrier,submarines,rocket ships.
WANT TO KEEP A CITY OR PORT OCCUPIED if none of these land or ships are in the city the occupation is automaticly resolved ram.steam rams,ballista,mortar ship,catapult ship,fire ship,/hoplite,swordsman,spearman,steam giant,archer,sulpur unless the 2nd battle system is added in then other ships can be used because they will fight back instead of scatter instantly.
