    Ikariam Version 9.0 :thumbup:


    1-Day and night mode has been added to the game. In addition to appearance,it'll have an impact on production and wars.

    2-Offensive and Defense Points categories have been combined under the name Battle Points. In addition,a reward will be awarded to the winners every 4 weeks (both as personal and alliance) in every category.

    3-Round times in battles will be 5 minutes now.

    4-Some of the islands that were empty on the servers have been converted to Siege Island,which was protected by the Great Barbarian Villages. Whichever alliance invades the tower on the island (which will be valid for the time it occupies (1-8 hours)),the alliance will be given the ability to build faster.

    5-If a city belongs to an inactive player,Gold can also be looted from that city.

    6-When exchange,if a player forgets to send raw material to other player,(s)he'll receive a reminder message.

    7-Utopia Research will be valid in every city,not just capital.

    8-It's possible to earn Ambrosia from Ares server now. Prizes will be distributed according to Total Score. The codes will be sent to the email address you've defined in the account.

    9-It's possible to make merchant ship now. They've also maintenance costs and attack from pirates.

    10-It's possible to turn Gold into Ambrosia now. 1 Ambrosia can be made with 1 billion Gold.

    11-The number of Warehouses that can be built in the city has been increased from 4 to 5.

    12-Between 2 pirate attacks,48-hour requirement has been added.

    13-2 more Premium city areas have been added to each island. Moreover,if you build a city in this area,you'll get 17% production bonus.

    14-New buildings (Breakwater and Artillery) that you'll have additional weapon power in the naval battle have been added. Both can be built in place of the Pirate Fortress (green flag). Adding mines to the battlefield at sea is possible thanks to Breakwater building. Artillery will support your navy with the Great Mortar,unlike Town Wall on land.

    15-If a player is building a Pirate Fortress for the first time,(s)he'll have protection against pirate attack for 24 hours after the construction is finished.

    16-"Skill Table" has been added to Workshop. It's possible to improve the capacity of merchant ships,the power of workers,priests and scientists by using Research Points in here.

    17-Alliances will be limited to 50 players. In the current alliances,they (players who not be the first 50 in Total Score) have been removed from the alliance by the system.

    18-For each building,different appearances have been added that change as the building level rises.

    19-The appearance of the city was back to version 2008 and the battle system was back to version 0.2.8-0.3.1.

    20-The requirement to have a Premium Account has been removed for the Building Construction List now. You can add 2 buildings in a city to the list (if you've a Premium account,5). You can also start a construction with Ambrosia simultaneously.

    21-3 different special server will made.

    a)Server that not be Colossus and Hephaistos' Forge miracles.

    b)Server that not be Premium features.

    c)Server that not be piracy.

    22-New land unit (Cavalry) has been added to the game. Cavalry will be deployed on the flanks. It'll have advantages against the Swordsman but disadvantageous against Spearman.

    23-There will be events with greater discounts on Ambrosia now.

    24-Premium Trader has been removed from the game. Instead,a market was added to the Agora on the islands. You'll be able to exchange with other inhabitants of the island in here.

    25-Speeds of units and ships have been renewed.

    26-Special building areas for the Academy and the Temple (in lake for the Temple and in hill for the Academy) were added to the game. The necessary transport for the old players was made. Moreover,you'll now be able to build 2 Academies.

    27-The diplomat of an alliance will have the right to cancel trade/cultural agreements with other alliances at once now.

    28-The ability to lend gold has been added to the game. If the debtor requests additional time,interest is added to the debt. In case the debtor's account is deleted,the raw material that was spend for city (buildings,units,ships,improvements) and raw material in the Warehouse are collected and paid to the creditor by the system instead of the debtor.

    29-The new building (Bank) which allows you to lend to alliances and other cities and the new building (Cooperative) which allows you to pay your debts have been added to the game.

    30-2 new research areas that enlarged Warehouse and increased Gold from the citizen were added to the game.

    31-New land unit (Assassin) has been added to the game. The success of the unit which only attacks the Cook/Doctor increases in proportion to the number of productions.

    32-Cargo Balloon was added to the game. If raw materials are to be sent to a city on the same island,it'll appear in the options. It'll be disadvantageous in capacity compared to the cargo ship. But it'll be advantageous in speed.

    33-Now you can convey the priority order of the raw materials to be taken to your army on your way to plunder a city and give additional orders about the layout of the battlefield.

    34-By your management choose,you'll have different details in the city view now.

    35-You can open multiple windows in the game now.

    36-You can make new building areas by cutting trees now. But you can earn these rights by reaching certain City Hall levels and Total Scores.

    37-The new building (Commercial Shipyard) which increases the capacity of the merchant ship has been added to the game.

    38-The game has a background music now. You'll also receive a voice notification at the end of construction now.

    39-When you win the battle,the system will reduce (just 1 level) the level of an enemy building that randomly chooses now. From damage,your citizens can collect several raw materials (less than what you get back when you demolish it yourself).

    40-There's a new type of cultural treaty (cultural contract) now. The contract is equal to 2 treaties.

    41-Surprise events added to the game.

    a)Volcanic eruptions:Occasionally,explosions from your city will take report that (randomly selected by the system) a building is damaged and taken down (just 1 level).

    b)The influx of refugees:Occasionally,there will be news that your workers quota has been expanded as a result of the influx from your city.

    c)Festival:Occasionally,there will be news of a celebration in your city that will allow soldiers/ships to charge less maintenance.

    42-You can enlarge your army by offering to the Barbarians for hire now.

    43-Improvements were made in the message system. It's possible to send to more than 1 person (up to 5) (not send message along 5 minutes if you send 1 times to 5 people or 2 times to 4 people) and add files now.

    44-An account coming out of the vacation mode will no longer be able to use the Black Market building for the first 48 hours.

    45-When you occupy a city,you'll be able to get tax from that city now. You'll receive 25% of the city's gold/raw material income.

    46-A player will no longer be able to launch a pirate attack on another player in the same alliance.

    47-Safe feature added to alliances. Members can deposit gold into the safe. The maintenance costs of the member approved by alliance leader are covered here.

    48-If a player sends messages for a cultural treaty,the 5 minute rule will no longer work.

    49-When units/ships is sent to an allied city,the maintenance cost will be 1,5 times instead of 2.

    50-You can buy and sell Research Points at the Trading Post now.

    51-You can gather slaves from wars now. If the defending player loses,the number of citizens will drop. If the attacking player loses,the number of soldiers will drop.

    52-You can see Temple owners on the island's monument now.

    53-The miracle of the Temple of Hermes has been extended to include looting.

    54-The battlefield was enlarged.

    55-A research area that reduces the maintenance costs of scientists has been added to the game.

    56-The new building (Fisherman) which increases happiness in the city (as the building level grows) has been added to the game. It can be built instead of Pirate Fortress (green flag).

    57-The amount of raw materials to be given by Barbarian Villages has been increased.

    58-The Bandit feature which restricts production was removed from the Barbarians and given to the Spies.

    59-You can shrink a message window to a tab and message window doesn't get lost when you go to another page in the game now.

    60-Steam Lifter (1 Day) has been added to the Daily Missions' award list.

    61-Experience feature that ensure that the number of casualties in battle isn't constant has been added to the game.

    62-A war simulator has been added to the game.

    63-You can build the 3rd Trading Port (in place of the Pirate Fortress (green flag)) now.

    64-Thief feature has been added to the game. When Town Hall is level 10,Thief will be active. Thief (only in inactive cities) can steal Gold (by 10% of the plunder).

    65-You can also plunder Research Points now.

    66-The new land unit (Amazon) has been added to the game. She's a more powerful "Front (close-combat) Battle Line" unit than the Steam Giant. But she can't be produced in the Barracks. She's generated by your city itself,depending on the frequency of your war reports that have low loss. So she takes her power from your successes in wars.

    67-The amount of Research Points requested by Future Researches has been reduced.

    68-In case of failure in Piracy,some of your Pirate Score will be given to the defender now.

    69-The "maximum 30 days in 1 year" limit was set for taking the account to vacation mode.

    70-A button that distribute wine to other your cities has been added to your cities on the islands where wine is luxury raw material.

    71-5 new miracles have been added to the game.

    a)Miracle that make more production.

    b)Miracle that removes the looting protection in the Warehouse of the city you attacked.

    c)Miracle that give +3 gold per piece for everything that you sell.

    d)Miracle that build +10% faster.

    e)Miracle that increase the capacity of merchant ships.

    72-A player will no longer be able to attack a player that has a score less than 5% of his/her score.

    73-The sign that indicating which city has the Pirate Fortress was removed from the island view.

    74-You can accelerate merchant ships by using Sulphur now. You need to spend 30000 Sulphur for every hour that you want to arrive early.

    75-The number of workers that you can employ will increase according to your donation now. So you won't expect to level up to employ more workers.

    76-A research line that increased the merchant ship's capacity was added to the game.

    77-You must need to have merchant ships in city before you send merchant ships from one city to another.

    78-If a city is already attack by a player,there will be no Barbarian attack at the same time.

    79-A section that showing how much raw material you spend for each city has been added to the game.

    80-Pirate attack on last 48 hours before the explanation of the Pirate High Score will no longer be possible.

    81-Research Point that requested by Piracy Research has been increased to 50000.

    82-Players (together) can now set how long a cultural treaty will last.

    83-Helios Tower's 10% bonus has been changed to 20% for the player who built the tower.

    84-After buy all of merchant ships from the Trading Port,you can spend gold to increase the capacity of merchant ships from the same tab now.

    85-If a player has build Pirate Fortress,(s)he will no longer be able to use the "Move Town" feature.

    86-World Map has been reduced to 75x75. In addition,the corners and edges of the map have been combined to provide a spherical appearance.

    87-Also you can get a war report for the piracy now.

    88-If a deleted account returns to the game,it'll no longer benefit from the miracle on the island for the first 48 hours.

    89-Some of the islands that were empty on the servers were transformed into the Mysterious Island protected by mythological creatures. You'll be able to earn items as prizes in battles against this island.

    90-Islands with new raw material (Iron) have been added to the game.

    91-A player will no longer be able to attack for a second time unless (s)he is attacked by other player (if (s)he isn't attacking an inactive player).

    92-The first 90 of 180 merchant ships that you can buy from the Trading Port haven't been changed capacity and the next 90 of 180 merchant ships have been reorganized as have capacity of 1000.

    93-Each player will start the game with 1 free Move Town (also given to existing players) now.

    94-Free Ambrosia which will rarely appear has been added to the awards of CineTheatre.

    95-The ability to finish construction immediately with Ambrosia has been removed from the game by adding the Premium Architect item (which shortens the construction time) to the Shop.

    96-If a player is online in battle,his/her units will gain extra morale now.

    97-Merchant and war ships will go faster than usual to allied city now.

    98-Warrior and Peaceful Mode that you can select for your account and can earn appropriate bonuses has been added to the game.

    99-You can hire Warehouses,merchant ships,workers and spies from/to other players for an hourly fee now.

    100-When an account goes into vacation mode,expenses will continue but be 50% less now.

    101-Future Researches has been renewed as last level 30.

    102-When an account is moved to another server (valid for the first 1 month),player will be given the right to change island (an island selected by the system) now.

    103-Generals will be have a limit proportional to Total Score.

    104-You'll receive a production bonus based on your donation status within the island now. But screen that showing each player's donate has been removed from the monuments and mines.

    105-Tender will also provide ammunition support to the ships now.

    106-Animations for battles have been added.

    107-The character limit of the Notes section has been extended.

    108-You can complete the production of units (such as building construction) with Ambrosia now.

    109-New land unit (Digger) that allowing you to overcome Town Wall faster has been added to the game.

    110-"Treasure Hunt in Mysterious Island" task has been added to Pirate Fortress. But as reward,you'll earn 1 cultural item with 25% chance instead of Gold and points for piracy.

    111-The bonus of Scientific Future Researches has been increased to 10%.

    112-If a city is inactive,Warehouse's looting protection will be reduced (88%) now.

    113-Green flags on World Map will show how many allied cities in island now.

    114-You can exchange raw materials with an allied city without the need for a trade treaty now.

    115-Names of advisors have been added to bottom of their picture.

    116-As Daily Bonus,340 Ambrosia will also be given to you every 60th day.

    117-The language of other countries can be selected on the servers of the countries hosting the communities of other countries now.

    118-A sign that tell you if you've a cultural treaty with player has been added to High Score (next to the player names).

    119-You can send spies directly from hostile city to another city now.

    As you can remember on the previous forum upgrade we lost some threads, lots of them. This is only what remained.

    In the old forum there was a special section for suggestions, in a specific format with details and players could discuss them. Unless a suggestion is voted by many players it isn't taken into consideration. If you want something and you are the only one this is not good enough.

    Now, show me where are the suggestions in this forum? Who are the players that agree to them? Do they answer to the same standard format?

    What you posted here is a list of wishes with no details. Most players do not read this thread, nor GF.

    yeah, i could write to STOMT a million things, this doesnt mean that the game would stay the same if they applied. Also, just because someone wrote to STOMT something, doesn't mean it's correct. This is more or less the reason that all these years millions of suggestions applied, but only the 0.0001% embedded at the game, even when the game had developers.


    Also, for my personal opinion, the colossus must removed, and the hp of the ballon must change. Does this mean that because i told it, must be applied to the game? My suggestion doesn't explained why.


    As for the minority, this is fault. Why someone that likes the game should write to stomt "please leave it as is" ?


    Another option, i would like to exist a second fleet unit equivalent to the relationship the spearmen- swordsmen at land, at least fair enought so the land battles and naval are equivalent. This doesnt mean that my suggestion dont change the game.

    If i wrote another 9 suggestions, at sum 10, at the end we have a entirely different game

  • As sgo said, the old forum was better equipped. In the Old Forum, the recommendations disappeared. Help issues are not enough. No support issues related to construction and war. The forum became mediocre.
