All long range units don't use munitions when all of the wall segments are standing.

There is a battlefield technique where you can use a targets walls against them to achieve higher damage ratios. The downside is you kill fewer of their frontline per round which buys them time to have reinforcements arrive.

Here's more! Starting at level 20+ one wall segment = a frontline unit dies. Some richer players loot with level 4 towns with walls level 40+ warp them around.
