(contact support) Can't merge

  • I'm getting contradictory data that the server is full and that there's still ~5500 spots available. Can anyone on the .en Nereus server confirm one way or another that the server is full? I've put in a tech support ticket but aren't getting a clear response.

    You should know that you're contradicting Black Scorpion, Super Gameoperater for the us community of Ikariam. They relied on the screenshot I included in my bug report to claim there are zero slots :)

  • There are over 5000 accounts on Okeanos. However, the SGO has authority over the world so if they've closed it early - perhaps to prevent the performance problems we've seen on Okeanos - then he will be correct.

    If any moderators look at this: I would appreciate an official answer. I was monitoring the spaces available through the "Inspect button" while I thought about where I wanted to move.

    -If it's true that merges were going to get cut off at ~5,000 spaces available, then that seems like a poor interface. If I'd watched the count approach zero, then hit the button while the number approached zero I could accept loosing to the few hundred people competing for the last dozen spots.


    -If there is some resolvable back end problem with my account and I move to another server minutes before a fix goes through that would also be unpleasant.
