Multiaccounting - Do game operators ban top 50 players?

    Hi, there is a guy on our server who is clearly multiaccounting. We reported him, but I want to ask how long it takes GOs to respond, and if they are actually willing to ban a player that is for example top 1 on server?

    Are you kidding? there's guys on perseus with 20 or 30 accounts.They rarely get banned and use them for gold. They brag about it on discord channel all the time how easy it is to get away with it.

    It depends on the evidence available. You should take screenshots and report him with as much evidence as you have. Unfortunately, sometimes the evidence is circumstantial, but just keep documenting everything the accounts do and they will eventually make a mistake.

    Are you kidding? A blind man could see what the latest ruse is now gen banks are a bit useless.

    The guys with dozens and I mean dozens of non IP shared accounts that are in their alliance for pirates and gold drop their tag and then wake up their gen banks and fight their multis with the hades on banking millions in marble and I watched a gen bank on perseus last night gain almost 3 million offence points in less then 24 hours.If that is not a red flag then I dont know what is.

    That is unheard off in the game untill now.

    They talk about it all the time on the perseus discord.

    They then use ambro to convert to glass for unlimited upgrades and You wont kill anything fighting them.


    You may kill a few rams in sea battles. But these guys have half a million gen scores and gameforge just empowered the bullies with unlimited upgrades.

    I am surprised no go's have picked up on this yet.

    A 2 million jump in offence score in 12 hours should have made a go take notice.

    I'm in a big alliance,our gen was #1 offence score till last night and now this. it will continue because they dont do anything about this.


    Ok, Crow, what is your evidence that these are actual illegal multis? You have speculation but speculation isn't proof. A great example of this is OJ Simpson. We can speculate he did what he did, but the prosecution failed to prove it in a court of law.


    Unfortunately, IIRC, there currently isn't a rule that says if I attack you, I have a lower score than you, and you kill my troops with Hades that it's pushing. I agree that it should be investigated and reported, but to the best of my current knowledge, this isn't against the rules. Also, eventually all the general banks will be exhausted so this is a short term problem.


    Using ambro to convert resources is also a currently supported feature of the game so I'm not sure why you're bringing that up.


    Again, if you think it is suspicious, use the report player button and share meaningful screenshots and other investigation that you've done to prove your allegations.


    As you're the one making the allegation, the burden of proof falls on you.

    Also, if you want these players to be punished, documentation, documentation, documentation. What you need to do is work together as an alliance and document with dates and times what you think they're doing to subvert the rules.

    it doesnt take a rocket scientist to monitor offence and defence points and to see what is going on. Sorry but you dont get 2 million offence points in under 12 hours or 6 million defence points. Thats why all the illegal multi players dropped their alliance tags. With hades they are getting 900 million marble or more in under 12 hours. I should not have to report or send screen shots if the go's cant see it. Most of these guys are gen banks but they figured out how to compromise the rules like usual . in 12 hours this guy will have another 2 million offence points.

    Yes, you should. It's up to all of us to report people if we think they're breaking the rules. All of us, including the GOs, need to work together.


    If you don't want to document and report cheating behavior, you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.


    Quit being part of the problem and start being part of the solution.


    Again, as far as I know, there's nothing illegal with someone attacking someone while they have Hades up and intentionally losing. Obviously, at extremes like this, it should be looked into as pushing.

    As I'm part of The crow 's server, I've reported the player. I'll add some documentation below of their behavior with server time stamps.

    it's documented right here. You only have to look at the top offence and defence scores to see what they are doing. I bet that guy is at 10 million offence score in 12 hours. They found a way to get rid of their gen banks and scoop hundreds of million in marble if not billions. Badidol knows who they are, they are all big alliances and on the ikariam discord but ya...I wont mention names. All the high point players have dropped tags just to do this.

    What exactly is the violation you're concerned about?


    Troop destruction using the Hades' miracle is currently a supported feature of the game and isn't against the current rule set. If anything, they'll stealth change Hades to be only the defender's units that turn into marble.


    The player you've alleged this against did the opposite, the lower point player (he has around 1m points) dropped the alliance tag to attack someone. Again, nothing about this seems to be a violation of the rules so far.


    Using a general bank was never against the rules; butchering a general bank into marble isn't currently against the rules either.


    Attacking someone with the intention of losing while they're using the Hades miracle might be against the rules if the attacker has lower points than the attacked, but that gets a lot more ambiguous as you'd need to prove collusion for pushing.

    using illegal multi's is against the rules and badidol knows it but chooses to igmore it. Some of us have been playing this game and fighting over ten years.We know the exploits but some of us dont cheat.

    There's only two potential rule violations.


    1) A smaller account is attacking a larger account and the larger account has Hades active. This should be considered pushing, but it's difficult to prove definitively. I'm not sure if there is an explicit rule against this scenario.


    2) Illegal multis, but again, if you suspect illegal multis all you can do is report. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the internet, illegal multis can be very difficult to detect which is why you have to document, document, document.

    badidol nor the GOs choose to ignore it. The issue is that it's difficult to get definitive proof.


    Again, suspecting someone has an illegal multi and proving someone is an illegal multi are two different things and badidol, the GOs, etc. require proof otherwise it'll simply be overturned on appeal to SGOs.


    Nothing you've reported in this threat suggests illegal multis, at best, it suggests a possible pushing violation.
