    I would like to suggest a change to the effect of Athena's miracle, and I believe it would be quick and easy to implement.


    The reason is that currently, gold defence is incredibly disproportionate in a negative way compared to resource protection... it makes no sense.

    Moreover, "general banks" exist precisely because they can plunder all the gold they want anywhere and without any problems.

    No normal player today is able to defend even a small part of their gold... it makes no sense.


    So you could think about this change :

    1 +40% secure resources in all warehouses, and 20% protection of all gold , 8 hours , 2G 8 hours

    4 +240% secure resources in all warehouses, and 80% protection for all gold , 8h 2G 8h

    But the point is that there is no proportion between how you can protect resources and how you absolutely cannot do anything about gold.

    I don't want ARES to become like other servers.

    It's right that gold can be looted.

    But it makes no sense that you can't even protect it in some way eand / or some time ...

    It would be absurd not to think of something special for this server....

    I haven't suggested anything particularly difficult or expensive....


    Just as an example,


    an account with 42,500,000 points and 14 level 35 polis can only protect 34,200 pieces of gold...

    Does that make sense?

    But they also need me to exist in the game and be able to play...

    Given that the logic of protecting one's resources is a reality of the game, and that I can protect up to 400% of the resources under warehouse protection, it is not illogical to assume that I can also protect gold.

    Furthermore, I could only protect it for a certain period of time... not forever.

    We could consider protecting only 50%... OK.

    But it's not just about me.

    Super accounts with hundreds of thousands of generals are a reality that is impossible to even try to defend against.

    I have nine co-islands full of generals and always in holiday mode.

    They wake up, attack you and go back into holiday mode...

    It's not a problem to be plundered, but I'd like to be able to play... and enjoy myself.

    Otherwise, my only option is to go on holiday...

    The game has evolved.

    There have been important changes,

    but some things have remained the same as in the beginning,

    two in particular.

    One is protected gold.

    The other is the amount of goods that can be put up for sale (which is low compared to the transport capacity of the new cargo ships).

    It is right and fine that gold on ARES can be plundered, but I believe that not being able to protect at least part of it is anachronistic today.

  • I understand the problem Luky. To me, the issue is that plunder protection is too low in general, especially with the new values of everything.


    Does gold use WH protection? If so, realistically, gold should be the WH protected value * 10 at minimum.

  • The game has evolved with new features to allow players to develop their accounts far beyond their current levels.

    But to do so, the need for gold has increased significantly!

    For example, to grow, you need many ships... and ships are expensive...

    The current level of gold protection is ridiculous for growth needs...

    I repeat: the possibility of looting gold must remain.

    But it should be possible to protect at least part of it.

  • By the way, 50% protection for all gold just means you get waved with more attacks. It is better than nothing, but 3 waves and someone has snagged 7/8ths of your gold.
