When a player is wandering about with a 900k GS and 1.6B gold thanks to generals banks and multis (and I'm assuming honest play) it ceases to be fun for the rest of us.
And this player has upgrades up the wazoo.
Sorry, but a player with a single account just cannot compete. And it's not fun.
I have stated almost the exact same thing. General banks and gold banks are bad, but not breaking. When you combine it, general banks, gold + upgrades it's so stupid. To be clear, its mainly the upgrades i dislike, it was the last nail in the coffin for my tolerance

I have been pushing the 48 hour v.mode since Deli came up with it and we know it could be painfull for some alliances.
Still I fought a lot of guys when they had banks and ridiculous gen scores and I did not. They are beatable but it takes strategy. Guerilla warfare, lots of running and hiding and hitting when your enemy sleeps with as many waves as you can muster. The wars today are nothing like 10 years ago. We have to adapt.I know guys that are unpillageable and they got 60 million scores.
As for the workshop upgrades you and I and everyone else knows it was nothing but an ambro grab. With 172 members in our alliance I know a lot of guys are using ambro for glass trades for upgrades. I would not sweat it, upgrade when you can and in your cr's you will see what your enemy has upgraded. Dont make it a priority when upgrades get over a million each. If you get attacked by someone with huge upgrades col him and head for a safe town.

Upgrades are only a problem if you choose not to upgrade your units. With how expensive they are, someone with around 10x your score should have about 3 levels of extra upgrades.

They stated that until v15 was rolled out to all the servers that there wouldn't be any announcements going out. They wanted to finish all the server infrastructure upgrades.

Well lots of these bullies only send enough morts to break your wall so...build 1 hop, 1 sword and one spear and add 30 or 60 baloons along with 60 or 120 gyros and get a level 40 wall.

It will never come, bro. It's not about not knowing how to fix this problem. The truth is they don't WANT to fix this problem. After what they said on that thread and the workshop update, it is obvious they love the status quo. It's been almost a year since I created that thread, did they take one single step towards the solution? That's why I'm still hitting v-mode, and you should do it too.

Become unpillageable. it's not hard. When they lose even more players then they are now they will deal with it and deal with gen banks.
Then they will have to deal with people treating this game as a business buying and selling accounts and gold and gens.
Badidol has already talked about making a change around general banks.

They finally finished the OS and DB updates that they had to roll out with 15.1. Perhaps we'll see a change soon about general banks.
The way of game it is nothing but pay to win. Gameforge don't care general user experience. They only care about money and their favorite players who buy a lot ambrosia. And their favorite players play like they are erdoğan in turkey. They just do everything they want and mods do nothing about it.
