(no issue) No effect beyond level 50 for Carpenter, Architect..

• The effect of buildings which reduce construction costs (Carpenter’s Workshop, Wine Press, Architect’s Office, Optician, and Firework Test Area) is limited to 50%.

Maybe in the future you get more discount.

For the moment you can only get 50% reduction with this building and all the other discount buildings are max 50% reduction.

Any upgrade higher than level 50 only gets you points in the highscores.

Does upgrading the Optician beyond 50% improve the amount of RPs you get from Experiments?

Something else to consider: if you are about to be pillaged, upgrading one of the reducers will reduce the amount by which you can be pillaged.

I guess that up until now, there hasn't been any effect beyond 50%. However, your total score will increase. If enemies target your town, this is an option for you to prevent your resources from being pillaged
