Workshop updates and achiements

  • Most of you that even moderately is collecting achievements, has noticed that in the Empire category, the last level 6 is gather 800 achievements, but the maximum presently available is 729. This means that GF left this for future planning

Now, since the workshop limitless updates, there is an endless discussion of whether it makes a difference or not, and in what extent. I for one have not yet decided, future will show, especially in the wake if the new update currently on test server. One thing is clear: the update needs huge, huge amounts of crystal and gold.

So, suggestion: create a set if achievements, where one gets them by updates in the workshop, in the form: have one kind of unit / ship upgraded 5-10 level, level 1, 11-20 level 2, 20-30 level 3, have two kinds of units upgraded 11-20 level 4, two kind of units 20-30 level 6, three kind of units 35 level 6, something like that, you get the picture. And since many players already spent upgrading, the achievements will be ready to collect. The rewards could be obnoxious tax advizer and or crystal.

    .....

Have you done and the hidden ones?

  • I don't know what you mean by hidden ones, but if you go to achievements, it reads Σ (sum) (number of your achievements) / 729.

The hidden ones does not count to the total number of archivements, so there a few one and many still unknown

  • On the subject of achievements, it's projected incorrectly. Only your own achievements are accurate, when you compare it to someone else's it gives random numbers. Maybe not random, but certainly far from correct. I compared it to an account that i knew the achievements and it was wrong numbers, i've tested this with a few ones. My next line of thought is if your achievements are only personal, who cares? If you have max achievements, its no longer accurate to assume its correct and i ignore it. I stopped achievement hunting after i found this out, it takes the fun from it. But hey, have a ball

  • What do you mean that it gives random numbers? And even if what you say is correct, it has nothing to do with the fact that the sum of achievements is shown to be 729, and an achievement says '"collect 800 achievements". Also, what are hidden achievements?

  • It doesn't give random numbers, but it's not working. It currently matches your own achievements - that is if the person you compare it to has at least level 1 of the achievement.

This is a comparison with a 500 point account who has the palace achievement on level 1 (get's matched my level 6 achievement), but not the other ones so they stay empty. As a result you cant really compare your achievements to others.

    Edit: Corresponding Bugticket

This sounds like an agreement, thank you. I did correct myself that it wasn't random, but it also wasn't showing correct

  • while I've spent most of my evening complaining, another thing not correct is battle reports. This might be server specific or across the board but both offense and defense points in a combat report should have double the numbers compared to server highscores. So a battle report would show 10k offense, 20k defense and then it would project it in the highscores as 20k offense and 40k defense. I don't know which is correct but you can simply add the combat losses and you would have the correct points

  • I think they killed this game myself.

    "They killed the game myself"????

They killed it with your own hands? Or how's that?

No, what The crow means by "I think they killed this game myself." is that they (Gameforge) killed this game (Ikarian) myself (in The crow's opinion/suspicion).

"I think (insert thought) myself" is just an expression that simply means "in my opinion/suspicion".

For example, if I said: "I think Susan is cheating on Dan myself" it simply means I suspect that Susan is cheating on Dan.
