Clarification on IP Sharing Visibility in Alliance Treaties

  • Hello,

I would like to ask for clarification regarding how IP-shared accounts affect alliance treaty visibility. Suppose the following setup:

    • Player A shares an IP connection with Player B, A<->B

    • Player B shares an IP connection with Player C, B<->C

    • Player A and Player C do not share an IP connection directly A<>C

If Player A joins an alliance, will the alliance treaty interface list Player C's alliance as an "IP-shared alliance" for Player A, even though A and C are not directly IP connected?

Thank you in advance for all replies.

    Best regards!

  • The alliance treaties will only register IP shares the alliance members have. So in your example, if Player A joined the alliance then you could potentially see the IP-share with Player B (assuming Player B was in an alliance.) Player C has no connection to Player A so the alliance treaties wouldn't register it.
