Infinite Horizons 2

  • Viking puts out a lot of youtube vids about ikariam.

    Heres troops.

  • It looks like there's been an update. I checked all of my upgrades and everything matched.

  • I had good laughs at the expensive mistakes, thanks

Don't waste crystal and gold on Rocket defense, 2nd line defense, Speed boat attack is half of what it should be, if you are not sure what to upgrade, ask first.

  • Swordman attack = (200+100)*1.15 = 345

    Barbarian Knifeman life= 360

According to (my) AM Theory there are 32 swordsmen hit the righmost slot ( in red ) while there are 28 swordsmen hit the lelftmost slot ( in blue)

The life of the righmost slot is 100%, so the 32 swordsmen use the basic path "2 swordsmen kill 1 barbar and the the remaining damage is lost" -> There is no difference between swordsmen with 0 up and my swordsmen with level 10 up in attack

The life in the leftmost slot is 93%. 28 swordsmen are able to kill 18 barbarian that is better respect how 32 swordsmen do, but the theoretical damage (28*345=9660) should be bale to kill till 26 barbarian, so again a lot of damage is lost.

In this case all the difference in flanks is made by ups in the armor. For example the 32 barbarian group that attack my slot needs 4 barbarian to kill one swordsman (105-210-315-420)

i ll try to repeat the test with my swordsmen at level 12 up attack (356 or 357 attack) and eventually level 13

  • In my last post

    Swordman attack = (200+100)*1.15 = 345

This is wrong, since i treated the terrestrial up as a naval up.

The correct terrestrial up is 50, resulting in a total attack value of 287,5

Then the following part of the message is still valid

The life of the righmost slot is 100%, so the 32 swordsmen use the basic path "2 swordsmen kill 1 barbar and the the remaining damage is lost" -> There is no difference between swordsmen with 0 up and my swordsmen with level 10 up in attack

But the last part has no sense

i ll try to repeat the test with my swordsmen at level 12 up attack (356 or 357 attack) and eventually level 13

since at level 12 the attack value will be 299.

Anyway i have done the tests

The life of the lesftmost slot goes from

    93 % of 12

    86 % of 12

    85 % of 11

Converted in damage should be about

    303 damage

    605 damage

    594 damage

and for me this is unbelievable, because passing from lv 10 to lv 11 test the max increase of damage should be the up*the swordmen in the group so 5*28 = 140 ( or if rounded because of forge 6*28=168), while 605-303= 302

  • This is the study about what level of gyros attack up to have ( x assis) in order to destroy 30 bombardier with a known armour up ( y assis)

    [Octave code]

Maybe i do a similar thing on paddle and ballons and post it on a guide

  • Maybe i do a similar thing on paddle and ballons and post it on a guide

For gyros is easy, because if you want to kill 30 bombardiers there is no other way except that 2 gyros kill 1 bombardier.

For balloons is much more difficult.

I want to know the up level of paddle in order to destroy one balloon per slot.

But according to (my) AM theory the paddle attack in groups [16,14], and i don 't know how they perform the kills.

Trying to be clearer i have screen before infinite horizon ups where 29 paddle kills 2 balloons while 28 paddle kill only one. Or if you remember the 4th dimension battlefield where 2 balloons x slot deployed, there, no balloons died even if the total damage performed by 10 paddle should be enough to kill a ballon.

So i have done a similar calculation for paddle vs balloons but the formula used is based on my speculations, so i cannot post it.
