Infinite Horizons 2

  • Yes. With Master builder classment.

It's a bit hard to determine the ressources wasted (or earned lol) but multiply the points lost by something like 55-60 (dependin of your level) and you will have a rough idea.

For people chasing points, I'm not sure that this update is a good news :|

You may not like me, but you can’t deny: I got style. (Thanks J.K. Rowling :D)

  • I may be wrong but I think that this situation already happened and the high score was updated.

  • If ALL the building costs are updated, then it's fair. If just some are updated, it's unfair.

I've found this screenshot from a youtube video.

Someone with ~60M master building points can expect to loose something between 3M and 4M

So if nothing change,he would have invested 200M ressources for "nothing". (not nothing but you got it)

  • Right, and exactly as I said, this is not fair. Before this update I was on #46. After the update I am on #48.

For a fair scoring table, the high-score should be the same as before.

  • Guys, this same situation happened back in 2008 and 2009 with the research points and the trading ships, if I recall correctly. We lost millions of points.

We’re all going to lose some points, so let's just get over it. What’s fair and what’s unfair is secondary at this point, the game is progressing, and those 4-5 million points should be the least of our concerns. The real hot topic now is the researchers in the workshop, as that’s going to be a gamechanger.

    That's basically impossible.

F.e let's say you have a Player whos points mainly consist in Buildings while another Players points mainly consist of technologies, ofc the latter will be less affected.

Balance-Updates are a normal thing (though it can be argued how much this one actually balances) and we're just not used to it since we didn't have any for a very long time, sometimes balance-updates benefit you, sometimes they do the opposite, that's part of a game.

I do hope the TH-Costs are a bit bugged (as were the sawmill-costs) since the cost-reduction seems to be much more affected then for the other Buildings.

  • The highscore is derived from specific values, and the moment any of the values change, the highscore changes automatically. It cannot be managed and changed manually based on the highscore before the change.
