  • First of all, when and what was Infinite Horizons 1? Was this when they increased the levels of the buildings to 50?

    • Changes:
      • Building costs/times for all buildings have been changed (I'd assume they're being scaled down not up.. I hope)
      • The basic stats of all units and the Town Wall have been increased (This could be a radical change)
      • Unit improvement levels in the Workshop are no longer limited (This is actually scary imo)
      • New improvements for Merchant Ships and Freighters have been added to the Workshop (Nice)
      • Fixed display issues in the ‘Get Resources!’ window when certain items were in the shop


    Sounds like this is gonna be a big update, so im glad they're really trying to improve the game but some of those changes kinda worry me.
    Especially the unlimited unit upgrades, it's going to make battles a lot more unpredictable not knowing where the ceiling is and further widen the top to bottom gap.


    what happens when a larger player has units with enough armor to completely negate the smaller players damage? and they're effectively nullified on a combat level.

      The stats of the troops and ships are multiplied by 20. In the screenshots above an upgrade grants +1 Armor/Dmg, so around 1/20 of the basis. So you have to upgrade both 60 times to be in the same spot as before the x20 multiplier?!
  • In most buildings there is a small reduction in the material requirement, in some nothing changes while in a few(sea charter,black market,pirate) the materials required increase slightly.

    In land units, it seems that each upgrade increases the damage by one number, while in ships it seems that each upgrade increases the damage by two numbers.

    Unfortunately the largest workshop I have is level 18 and I can't see the increase in merchant and cargo ships yet.

    It seems that maybe, at least in the beginning, it would be better to have more than 2 workshops.

    A small bug seems to be that if the new version is installed and you don't log out, it seems like there is no upgrade and it's like you start the upgrades of the units from the beginning, but if you click on upgrade of a unit and you are charged less materials and 1 hour of time and you logout-login, the system restores the upgrades you had, but the upgrade is completed in 1 and not in 4 hours

  • It seems the values of attack, armor and life are become 20*actual_value for all units




    But when forge apply to new higher values of attack, the new increase in higher, so something can change .


    And then yes, there will be new ups, but i do not have a well developed account with workshop in the test server

  • So the life ( or hit points ) of the walls follows the rules


    1800+ 900*level


    so yes, even the life has been multiplied by 18


    since units values have been multiplied by 20 with the new version should be easier take down walls

  • hopefully the wall x18 is an overside from the prev unit adjusted going from 18 to 20.

    feels bad having weaker overall walls
    considering units dont got a limit on upgrading.eventuelly they can outperform max lvl walls easily with enough time.

    i do hope that it would be an overside if not i would atleast like to see a 2nd wall defence option.

    thinking of a 2nd build slot for walls to build a weakened wall.
    -weakened wall hase half the damage,armor,hp of the current wall. gives no garrison limit or atleast half that.
    -will force a 2nd battlefield when 1 wall is breached of main walls if no front/range defenders are pressent.
    -this battlefield is a forced destroy all walls to win section.
    -it fully restocks both the attacker+defenders ammo on battle.
    -2nd last thing would be this wall hase a 24 hours cooldown period or more to be used again if its fully destroyed.
    -then the last thing is the wall wont work when the player hasent logged on for more then 7 days. inactivity should be punishing afther all not give the defender a 2nd protective line


    the cost to make this should be double the resource cost per lvl up from the normal wall.

  • You should be able to upgrade the wall in the workshop, too. Make the wall 20x and allow for attack/armor upgrades. The wall is a land unit.
