    Avem câteva noutăți pentru voi!


    1. Serverul de testare Ikariam

    Pe lobby-test.ikariam.gameforge.com există EN800, cunoscut și sub numele de „serverul de testare”. De ceva timp, nu l-am mai folosit ca atare, dar intenționăm să schimbăm acest lucru și să încercăm să-l folosim mai mult așa cum sugerează numele său. Cu apropierea Milestone 2 al Infinite Horizons, este momentul perfect să începem!


    :!: Țineți minte: acesta este un server de testare. Lucrurile pot dispărea neașteptat oricând, iar pe un server de testare, acest lucru nu este considerat o urgență. De fapt, exact pentru asta sunt serverele de testare: pentru a găsi problemele mari și a le rezolva ;)


    De asemenea, nu uitați: pe serverul de testare nu există opțiunea de plată. Nu este un bug, este intenționat :)



    2. Infinite Horizons (Milestone 2)

    Ne pregătim să lansăm Milestone 2 al Infinite Horizons.

    Îl vom lansa mai întâi pe serverul de testare și vom continua de acolo.

    Dear players,


    we have some news for you!

    1. Ikariam Testserver
    At lobby-test.ikariam.gameforge.com there is EN800, also known as "the test server". For quite some time we have not used it like one, though. We're planning to change that again and try using it more in the way its name would suggest. With milestone 2 of Infinite Horizons coming up soon, this is as good a time as any to start!

    :!:Keep in mind: it's a test server. Things can go poof unexpectedly at any time and on a test server, this does not constitute an emergency. You'd expect it, really, that's what test servers are there for: finding the great big poofs and ironing them out ;)

    Furthermore, remember: there is no payment on the test server. That is not a bug, that's intended :)

    2. Infinite Horizons (Milestone 2)
    We are getting ready to release Milestone 2 of Infinite Horizons.
    We'll release it on the test server first and take it from there.

    today, around 10:00 CET, we'll be rolling out Milestone 2 of Infinite Horizons on the test server (view details above).


    This is the changelog:


    Changes:

    • Preparations for the next update
    • Building costs/times for all buildings have been changed
    • The tutorial has been updated to match the new building costs/times
    • The basic stats of all units and the Town Wall have been increased
    • Unit improvement levels in the Workshop are no longer limited
    • New improvements for Merchant Ships and Freighters have been added to the Workshop
    • Improved the process when developing improvements in the Workshop with missing resources


    Bug fixes:

    • Fixed an issue where the tutorial hand did not point at the Research button
    • Fixed display issues in the ‘Get Resources!’ window when certain items were in the shop

    today, **27.03.2025, around ~11:00 CET**, we'll update the PTS with another new iteration of Milestone 2 of Infinite Horizons.


    * Fixed incorrect Town Hall upgrade costs

    * Fixed incorrect Saw Mill upgrade costs

    * Fixed incorrect Weapon and Damage values for the Town Wall (levels 10-20)

    * Fixed issue with building titles and descriptions being displayed in other languages

    * Fixed missing tax break and units allowed for selling at the Black Market in the building Help section

    * Added the levels of unit & ship upgrades to the tooltip displayed in battle reports and in the Barracks/ Shipyard

    * Fixed Workshop not allowing upgrades for the same unit (attack & defence) to run in parallel in different towns

    * Fixed Dummy packages windows not opening


    **Known issues**

    * When an upgrade is already running in a different Workshop, there is a placeholder/ untranslated text displayed in languages other than English and German

    pe 08.04.2025 între 10:00 și 15:35 CEST vom actualiza toate serverele live cu versiunea 13.0.0, cunoscută și ca Infinite Horizons Milestone 2.


    În plus față de changelog-ul deja postat, aici este un FAQ împreună cu un fișier Excel care detaliază unele costuri de construcție (vezi FAQ pentru detalii).


    De ce au fost modificate costurile și timpii de construcție ai tuturor clădirilor?

    Această schimbare a fost făcută pentru a face începerea jocului mai rapidă și mai accesibilă.


    De ce este diferența dintre statisticile vechi și cele noi atât de extremă între nivelurile individuale?

    Unele dintre salturi sunt cauzate de creșterea nivelului maxim al clădirilor făcută în trecut, unde costurile au fost calculate diferit înainte și după creștere.

    Alte salturi sunt rezultatul noii formule care este utilizată acum de la primul la ultimul nivel.


    Putem obține detalii complete cu privire la toate modificările aduse costurilor și duratei de construcție?

    Din cauza constrângerilor de timp, acest lucru nu este posibil, dar iată câteva exemple (din motive tehnice, valorile finale din joc pot diferi ușor):

    Va exista un tabel de highscore separat pentru upgrade-urile unităților?

    Am văzut această sugestie în Discord și am transmis-o designerilor / decidenților jocului, dar nu va exista pentru lansarea 13.0.0.


    Punctele mele vor fi recalculate?

    Deoarece costurile clădirilor au fost modificate, punctajele maxime vor fi recalculate.


    Voi fi compensat pentru resursele suplimentare pe care le-am cheltuit pentru modernizarea clădirilor în comparație cu noile costuri?

    Nu, nu va exista nicio compensație.


    Minele vor fi ajustate automat pentru a corespunde noilor costuri?

    Nivelurile minelor vor rămâne neschimbate, cu o singură excepție (a se vedea următoarea întrebare).


    Ce se întâmplă dacă au fost deja donate mai multe resurse pentru actualizarea minei decât sunt necesare conform noului sistem?

    În acest caz, nivelul curent va fi mărit cu 1, iar resursele rămase vor fi lăsate ca valoare a donației curente.


    Vor fi modificate și efectele miracolelor sau acestea au fost lăsate în mod deliberat neschimbate?

    Efectele miracolelor necesită o revizuire ceva mai amplă, deoarece unele dintre ele nu sunt folosite aproape niciodată. Aceasta este o problemă cunoscută și va fi abordată într-o actualizare viitoare.


    De ce zidurile orașului nu se măresc în conformitate cu trupele? Acum am și mai puține șanse de a mă proteja de jucătorii mari.


    Acest lucru face parte din reechilibrarea într-o actualizare viitoare, așa cum este menționat în jurnalul de modificări.

  • Dear players,


    *Regarding the issue with not being able to retreat fleets, we could reproduce the issue and have a somewhat good idea, what the underlying issue is.
    For now, we recommend you always leave one trade ship at home at all times when engaging in pillages etc.
    This will ensure you will be able to retreat. As soon as we know, when to expect a fix version, we'll let you know.


    **Regarding the reports about apparently tripled wine consumption on war servers: our QA has managed to reproduce the issue and it is being looked into.

    As with the retreat issues: we will let you know, as soon as we know about a fix version.

  • Test Server - version 13.0.3


    Dear players,


    on Tuesday, 29.04. around 10:00 CEST we'll be updating the PTS (lobby-test.ikariam.gameforge.com) with version 13.0.3 for further testing and evaluating changes made to Milestone 2 of Infinite Horizons.

    This will include:


    • armour and damage values of Hephaistos' Forge changed
    • buildings will receive the new max levels

    In order to help with testing, we will again provide a few goodies along the way:


    • every account on the PTS will receive 6000 Ambrosia to help speed up and evaluate/test the changes
    • every account on the PTS will receive a few unit packages to help speed up and evaluate/test the changes


    Based on the feedback gathered from this version the further schedules and changes will be decided.

    If you're not yet on the test server, we recommend giving it a try. Your feedback would be valuable to improve the version and the more feedback we get from the test server, the better the final result will be that goes live.

  • Dear players,


    reminder: the update is active on our test server. Some clarifications/additional information:

    • changed the effect that is granted by an active Hephaistos Forge, lowered the damage and raised the defense for each level
    • new level caps for all buildings, some of them are just for Highscore points (see points below)
    • the effect of the building cost reduction buildings (Carpenter's Workshop, Wine Press, Architect's Office, Optician, and Firework Test Area) is capped at 50%
    • the effect of the resource production increase buildings (Forester's House, Winery, Stonemason, Glassblower and Alchemist's Tower) is capped at 140%
    • Palace level 21 and above doesn't raise the maximum amount of cities, the current maximum of 21 cities remains (1 Capital + 20 Colonies)
    • Palace and Governors Residence level 21 and above can counter corruption of Government Forms to get 0% Corruption even with Aristocracy or Oligarchy
    • the taxes defined by the Black Market can't go below 1%
    • the minimum training time of units at the Barracks, Shipyard and Hideout is 1 second per unit and 10 seconds per training task
    • the effect of the Sea Chart Archive is capped at 90% travel time reduction

    tomorrow around 13:00 CEST we'll update the Public Test Server (PTS / EN800) (lobby-test.ikariam.gameforge.com) with version 14.0.2 which - apart from some bugfixes and minor changes - mostly consists of a variety of backend fixes and preparations needed for upcoming versions and updates.



    Changes:

    • The Effects row in Inventory now displays the visuals of the last item of that type that was activated,
    • The automatic extension feature for item effects will now use or purchase the same type of item that was last activated, rather than always doing a 30 Days extension,


    Bugfixes:

    • The button for the Chronos Forge building in the Help section is now using the updated visuals for the building,
    • Fixed the tooltip displayed when hovering over a building's construction time showing a different rounded value for the Chronos' Forge effect,
    • Fixed the display of goods per minute that could be loaded in the Trading Port being slightly off for some levels,
    • Fixed a visual error that sometimes appeared in the hint displayed when purchasing Phoenician Merchant Ships,
    • Fixed an issue where players lost resources when using premium colonisation items
    • Various backend fixes,
