more market capacity

  • With the arrival of the new transport ships, we can transport many more goods than before.

Now with the new functions we produce much more and can transport much more than before.

But the size of the market capacity has remained the same.

I would suggest increasing them, so that there is more trades and therefore more activity, in short .... more players playing ....

  • The vast majority of normal players I think have markets at level 31 or 33 ...

Oh? how come that you think such thing without really knowing, i ask about you, i don't like it, when people come with "others, vast majority, more players or all players", you just don't know, it's a miss argument. But if your market is in that range you should build it up first...

  • global ares 1

    Total players 8000

The first have 460 k points

    At 300 th , we see +/ - 57k points

    and so on ... down

This is the reason because i think the medium lev. is 31-33

  • I would have to agree. market capacity is increasing way too slowly compared to storage capacity and even its build cost. Especially since now with freighters it is conceivable even for medium development accounts to be able to surpass the max capacity of marked in fraction of their trade capacity.

The market capacity should have been modified when they modified the the storage capacity of warehouses and dumps.

  • So your Market is already level 72 and you want transport more then 3.38kk at ones?

It takes 3.49kkk wood for max level. You can sell max 3.38kk. So you're able to sell 0.1% of what it costs...

Yes, you have a lv 50 carpeter, so it's 1.75kkk, bumping up the percentage to 0.2%...

So yes, you should be able to sell more than this at once. Of course there are workarounds, like sending ships in waves and the seller to "refill" the market after each load or putting you're request as "buying" and there your gold is the only limit. But it will be a nice to have the option to put more resources for sale.

You compare building cost with the amount you can sell in one turn? How the heck is that related to each other?

  • As mentioned in other Threads, imo market and trading just need a big overwork in general, to increase Player Interactions and activity in that aspect.

Increase of capacity should definitely be a part of it, right now the gap between what you have to pay for upgrading the Trade Post and how much capacity you gain for that, are just not reasonable.

Then why would you spend the resources to build it? It doesn't scale up like other buildings.

  • Just one final observation:

On the market, I can put a small quantity of resources up for sale, whilst I can buy ten times as many by placing a buy order – which, I believe, is limited only by the amount of gold I have available...

So, on the one hand, very little, and on the other, an absurd amount.

Perhaps it would be fair to adjust the quantity for sell orders....

Years ago, we could sell a single piece of wood for 50 gold.
