Things we would like to see the gods do, in future researches in Mythology (for the Gods' Shrine).

  • I would suggest to increase the max level for the God's shrine to 55-60 and expand Mythology research to give us more percent to the shrine or maybe let us build statues of the gods to get extra % boost.Or the best of all,all together! ^_^

    I don't think that this is such good idea. the shrine is already the most important building and making it even more OP is counterproductive.


    Perhaps add a new building that you can construct instead of the shrine that would boost other things (not resource production). perhaps ship speed, scientists production, and other non production building, so you would have to make a decision what you prefer.

    Those are good, I'd also add increased loading speed in trading towns (other cities trading resource ports) and pillaging other's cities).

  • I suppose you could do a lot


    faster loading

    faster movement

    faster troop/ship building

    faster building construction

    increased happiness and/or max population increase

    boosts to wall defense and resource protection (although this might end up being over powered)


    most of that would be situational though

    population/happiness increase might be something useful long term.

    and I would probably run the faster movement in at least 1 town 24/7 as posiden is my most useful wonder.


    it does seem like there should be some more things that could be added though.


    someone said increased spying or espionage defense that would be a good one also.


    perhaps one that boosts research.. although that has a finite use because the futures do have a max level if im not mistaken.


    maybe you could have one that causes increased morale drain on attacking armies, although that could be countered with more cooks.

    but if you add a random chance for it to scare away 10% of the attacking army each round that would be interesting.


    not enough to out right drive someone away but enough it would make a difference in longer battles.


    you could have a god opposite of that which randomly increases the stats of your units by 10% for a round.

    maybe it also has a chance to fully heal damaged units or refill their ammo.

  • I'm now looking at the situation on Ares 1, where 125 players have completed all the research that currently exists. By some assumption and guessing, let's say that by the end of the year, based on the results I see, at least 25 more will join them, and by the next year, there will surely be more than 300 people with completed research. 300 people is not a small number. It's definitely worth considering moving the research limits up by X levels. In my opinion, increasing it by 5 levels would be quite enough.
