Currently, whenever the God Shrine goes from 3d to 2d it has a warning about how you need to spend more favor because the Gods are getting angrier (or something to that effect).
That message is incorrect. You only need to apply favor after the 3d cooldown wears off.
When the 3d cooldown does wear off and the favor bonus drops from 1000 to 900, the message doesn't appear and that's when it's most relevant because the bonus is decreasing.
