But there is a growing animosity towards turkish community, why? Because of the actions of 1 player. Should 1 person actions really have a negative perception on whole nation - NO. But the fact is that in the server this is the opinion of many players

I never said that what he did was against the rules, i just said that this is very scummy behavior. As is using multies to leech faith, gang up on 1 account with 10 of your own... we can all agree that those things, although legal and in accordance of the rules are scummy and in the breech of normal decency.

And for all of you crying in the comments "RaCiSm" what exactly was racist about what i said? NOTHING! NOTHING at all!

Just because i called a turkish player a turk? Really? that is considered racist? give me a break! If he was serbian i would call him a serb, bulgarian i would call a bulgar, slovakian a slovak and so on. but the fact is that he is turkish so i called him a turk.

No, no, in your first posts you said "Turks are the scum of the world". Badidol deleted the phrase "Turks". Now you can't say I didn't make any racist statements.

I figured out that it was because of piracy. and i think this is morally wrong, albeit it is not in breech of game rules.

If you have any suggestion how to deal with that situation, please go on and say it.

Have you tried communicating with him/her properly?

After all, it's the week of the merge, and (s)he may have also held space for the other members of his/her alliance who will arrive towards the end of the merge.

Who knows, one day, (s)he may be the closest support to you in your fight.

And none of that would be relevant at all because it's the behavior that's the problem. It doesn't matter if it's a Serbian, Bulgarian, etc. Just call out the player behavior without the nationality.

I NEVER insulted any nationality as a whole, nor did i generalize his behavior as it were common for a whole group.

This is what i wrote.

Even if there was a phrase "that >turkish< cockroach is there for the pirates... scum of the earth" (only paraphrasing here) this still wouldn't make it a racist statement, it is insulting for sure, perhaps even inappropriate. it is insulting towards him specific. I can see that and Badidol warned me about insulting people and calling people different animals is rude. I agree that i might have gone too far, but not by calling him turkish, but by calling him an insect. Which is what i will try to avoid in the future.

However you are claiming that the racist part of my post was calling him turkish. Which is not. He IS turkish, he speaks turkish, he is in turkish alliance, he has turkish city names... so i called him turkish (this is the truth, not any kind of racist statement).

On BG servers option 4 is most popular with 6000 free spots remaining, option 2 is second most popular with 6700 free spots, option 3 is next with 7100 free spots and by far least popular is option 1 with 8000+ spots remaining. not sure how it is on other national servers, but i would guess something similar.

Builders will go to option 2. fighters and builders who use premium trader will go to option 4, option 3 is for "smaller" players who want to research all futures, and option 1 is for staunch traditionalists and people who want to play on less crowded servers.

Can a board operation ban these players, or block them for posting spam posts, this is a merge thread. My questions and others' get lost among irrelevant posts and never get answered. Can anyone responsibly answer my last question before 20 irrelevant posts bury it again? Thank you.

But calling it racist is just plain wrong. Nowhere does it compare all turks to any kind of animal or any other insult. (or any other nation for that matter) I only called this specific turk / that specific player (that is engaging in what i believe to be scummy behavior) those names.

Depending on the density, you may find yourself on the new server immediately.

Considering that we are talking about the problem of finding space on the new server and the war of nations that broke out afterwards, it may not be considered spam.

When you choose a server you will be transfered to your chosen server in next couple of minutes/ hours. you can do that for next 9 days (in BG servers) or untill the time limit set on your sepcific national server.

If you do not choose the server until then you will be assigned a random server (you cannot stay on the same server as you are on).

If you choose a server today and start the transfer progress you will be able to play on that choosen server even after 23 september.

I am not sure what happens if you are innactive on new server when end of the marge happens. in the wore case scenario you will be sent to graveyard server.

Yes, the one who made his/her choice now continues his/her virtual empire on his/her new server.

If you're willing to wait, you can start your adventure in a future "sooner than tomorrow."

In the EN merge, I was able to merge and play within 45m and I was only delayed because of a power outage. In my ES merge, I was able to play on the new server almost instantaneously.

I can honestly say I don't care what flag you're flying, I've got people from different countries in my own alliance, flags mean nothing only the alliance tag.

Some people even turn it off so you can't even see it.

Also it's quiet possible to play the game in a different language once you know where all the vital bits are it was funny when I put the game into traditional Chinese and could still play it without much issue..

You can ALL drop the "racism" debate now.

Discuss these things in forums that are there for that kind of topic, if you must. But not here.
