adding a button to instantly max production in all towns

  • Have a suggestion,

I dont know how many people are like me, but adjusting my production levels can be kind of a drag sometimes.

lets say you have 20 towns and youre purely banking gold, now you want to turn back on youre researches and/or priest, wood, and quarry, you have to go through all 20 towns and change the meter manually. (i dont have 20 towns but the more towns you have and the more production you have to turn on and off thats alot of menus and tabs you have to go through to click the same thing. trying to explain the redundancy).

cant GF add some buttons somewhere in the academy for academies, temples, quarries, and forest. one button to remove all production in all towns for that resource. and maybe one button to add them all to max. but for building material and quarry it goes to max but not overdrive. that you would have to do yourself.

this way it would save GF alot of refreshes and players like us a lot of miscellaneous clicking

im not a programmer so this could maybe be hard to do i dont know but i sure as heck know this will make a lot of peoples lives easier

also i had a suggestion i threaded not long ago about adding a premium feature to allow building swapping between two buildings within the same town for allow people who wants all their towns to have exact same layouts to be possible without having to demo and completely rebuild two buildings. this feature would give no unfair advantage to anyone and would indefinably increase overall satisfaction and revenue to the game.

thanks for reading if you made it this far. any additional suggestions is appreciated.

  • It shouldn't be hard to do, it's just a loop, but that does require a lot more validation for edge cases than going town by town.

For example if cities 1, 2, 3 are valid but city 4 isn't, do you fail the batch? Do you not make the changes to city 4?

Also, it's not about how hard something is as much as how valuable is this feature?

Your feature is competing against a lot of other features to get implemented in Ikariam and other Gameforge games.

While I definitely want better empire management like that, I don't see a lot of players wanting it so I doubt it'll be a high priority for the devs. I'd love to be wrong, though.

  • for something like academies. it would be useful. turn all on or all off. if null then void town and go to next. assuming a town doesn't have an academy.

just an idea to save some of the redundant work going through each town.

maybe im wrong. there no right or wrong just a suggestion that is all.

    thanks for reply!
